Hello to all.:wave2: I am a newbie on this thread. I was drawn by the name. I have been been quit crazy this past few months. I am also driving my DH crazy. I am self employed and have no health insurance. I had let mine go so I could find anouther than I herniated a disk in my back. I had surgery 25,000 dollars. Any way the strain of all that has put me in early menapause. I am 43. I was wondering how long this will last? :confused3 Will DH and I live through it? :scared1: Is there anything I can do. I have sweats durring the night. I cry about anything. I get so aggrevated.:sad2: I would not take estrogen even if I went to the doctor. I took it before and got fibroids. I am trying some herbal I got from Wal-mart. I don't drink caffeine and I exercise. I would appreciate any help at all. (Somone stop this ride I want off.)

Hi Scraper. Welcome.

I've been put in the witness protection program and forced to agree to a gag order.

This isn't really me, just another imaginary "friend".

ME too! I am Tiffy "The Bull"

Help me Ladies!!!

Dh comes home early on Fridays. He should be home in about 15 mins. We have an appt at 2:00 here and have to pick up the kids at 3:15. That leaves about 2 hours.

He sent me a strange email asking if we could hang out and do something or will I be busy. I THINK HE WANTS TO MAKE EYE CONTACT! :scared1:

I don't want to make eye contact on a normal basis. But in the middle of the day when someone is coming to sign paperwork with us in a few hours and then we have to go pick up the kids at school that just skeeves me!

I have sent him to Wallyworld on his way home to buy me a few more minutes. What else can I do??? We have to eat lunch. I am thinking about cooking something that takes a while. . .

HELP!

Tell him you have Diarrhea. Works everytime. For anything, not just eye contact. Speeding tickets, getting out of family gatherings, whatever.

Hey! I am guessing we have something in common! Do people around here misread your name too, or is it just mine? :confused3

Sorry PMS doesn't stand for that, but we are all crazy here, and a great group to come to when you are feeling PMSy--we understand and are here to listen and help you feel better, at least emotionally. And if you need to see Dr. about it we will badger you to death until you do--all in love though.

Stick around and join in the fun!
I knew it was two P's:rolleyes1 Thank you. I don't need a doctor just a padded room for how ever long this takes.
My DH says just go and do your scrapping you will feel better and I will not have to shoot us both. I most go and get something done. Thanks and have a great day.:thumbsup2

Ok, Nurse WD2...I just pulled a 1/4 inch peice of fibergalss out of my finger!!!

:lmao: :lmao:

Oh yes, are you referring to that lovely couple that wanted to sit near the dor and *someone* (I can't imagine who) was yelling "DON'T DO IT"!
I think lots of us yelled that. :rolleyes1

If people don't cooperate, I'll find out anyway, and the people who don't share, they get put on 'the list'. Then I do evil things to them. Or at least I try to do evil things. My memory isn't what it used to be, but I think one time I may have sent a bunch of subscriptions for 'mature themed' mags to T&Bs house when she crossed me...but I'm not 100% sure about that because I don't ever remember her compaining about it?
I forgot to send you a thank you card, didn't I? :woohoo: :yay:

Welcome Scraper! We're s strange bunch for sure, but also a lot of fun (in a snarky kind of way :rotfl2: ).

Paige called me from somewhere...they were driving in heavy snow and have already seen a couple cars in the ditch and one pulled over. They said when they saw 5 cars off to the side/in a ditch that they would pull over.

Afternoon! Has anyone been to Sanibel or Captiva Island? I am trying to plan a little getaway for DH and I when he comes home. Both look great!

BTW, yes, this box is hot!!!!

:scared1:

How did you get fiberglass in your finger??

Pulling the tables together at Outback.

I have. It is nice. You can take Sailing lessons there. I am not much for the West coast of FL, I like the Ocean. But Sanibel is nice and so is Naples.

We've been to Captiva (visited last October), and we plan on going back (if we can find room in our vacation schedule). We loved it. Such a nice, peaceful vacation. And yes, I live 10 minutes from the beach, but will drive the over three hours for this place!

This is where we plan to stay next time we go: http://www.jensen-captiva.com/gulfside.htm The honeymoon suite looks grand!

So, I am looking for a quiet, romantic getaway for the hubbie and I. Any recommendations for a place on Sanibel? The other option is the Don Cesar in St. Pete's.

Hmmm, decisions, decisions....

What box? (or should I be scared to ask?)

Welcome Scraper! Hang out with us for while - even though the title of this thread is about private messages, there's enough of us around here that somebody's bound to be PMSing anyway! :rotfl2:

So hubby went and rented an extractor to clean the carpets and upholstery today - it's doing a decent job on the carpets, but not so much the furniture. Every time he stops for a few minutes, the thing sits there and makes a noise that reminds me of a noise we heard on our honeymoon in Bermuda. We were at a zoo that had a sea tortoise exhibit, and one of the sea tortoises made a huge effort to climb over several others to get to the one who must have been his lady love. Let's just say the scene that followed was appropriate honeymoon viewing :rotfl: , and featured this loud huffy kind of noise every 30 seconds or so. Who knew something called an extractor could bring back that memory?

My last post I linked where we are staying next time we go. We visited Sanibel (lighthouse, some shops, beach), but I really prefered the smallness and closeness of Captiva.
