Paigey, HAPPY BIRTHDAY :bday: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Libby and her friend are outside digging in a pile of snow at the end of our driveway. Since I really should keep an eye on them I can't do laundry or clean the bathrooms right now - it sounds reasonable to me :teeth:.

teva, I think that all of us will want the hugs, but poor Paigey. :scared: :rotfl:

How are you doing today, teva?

Paige better never meet me then, I'm a hugger. :sad2:

I feel shaky and light headed today. I'm on a new med for the foot and they are the side effects so maybe that's why. I'm suppose to take it two more times today. I don't know about that.

ok...I am gonna ask you a question. I just started a thread about this, but I have to ask anyway. My DH just got his butt out of bed and informed me that his job is requiring them to get another background check, complete with finger prints, running his driver's license, and a CREDIT check. He drives a forklift in a warehouse, why on earth after 5 years of employment would they want a credit check? anyone have any idea? they also want my SS#, and all my history:birthplace, past marriages, past residencies..... WTH???

Unless your DH deals with money, his credit will have no bearing on his position. Also, if he deals with sensitive materials, could be the reason for finger printing etc. Why on earth after 5 years? Well, if the company is trying to get a government contract then all employee's are required to have those things done...background, fingerprinting. In order to place a bid for a gov't contract, all employee's have to be in compliance of certain things. So these things are in place sometimes before they place a bid. After they place a bid, and get the contract, at times there are other things that need to be done. Employee's are always the last to know what is going on at the top, so it could be along gov't lines, or even state lines. As for your information...they don't need that, and its a bit over the top. I can't see your DH's company getting some top security clearance stuff in the warehouse. I would question what for, before I handed over any of my information.

Hey Teva, that stinks:hug:. I have lots of problems with side effects from meds. Put your feet up and relax.

teva, if you think it's anything else you need to head to the dr NOW! Don't make me yell, don't make me lecture, and don't make me call you. I'm perfectly fine doing any of the above.

I'm actually getting my kitchen cleaned up and papers that I've been ignoring sorted through. Yes, there are still plenty more, but this is a start.

My DH is being a Richard Head today, but it's really nothing new. He decided that bingo night is not a fun activity, so screw him, and I don't mean it literally, Jake and I will go. Nevermind that he had fun last year or appeared to. I'd better shut up now before I say more than I need to say.

Is it Monday yet?

Just got back from the Carnival and I am exhausted. I still have to run errands-- I totally forget that I have to buy a camera by Monday :teeth:

I still have to clean house and buy food and prepare for inlaws and birthday.

Oh and DH is right there with your's Tig--total Richard, hi is in a lousy mood and taking it out on us. Can't wait to go shopping with him.

Thankfully I don't need to spend much more time with my DH the rest of today. And tomorrow, for that matter. And then come Monday? I will be off and running, well, driving, for a few days :cool1:

I wish I could say the same.....I am sitting on hold with the bank cancelling the credit and debit cards.....my delightful other half left his wallet in the car...yup, it was stolen, along with the cds and his IPOD...... I feel like strangling him. This is one of those I told you so moments. He has a Geo Tracker.... you know one of those plastic soft tops where you can pretty much just unzip it. UGHHH!!!!! ok....my little vent is over.....off to call another number.....:headache:

Oh no, Kelly! I'm sorry. What a PITA.

Yes, teva, it is quiet here.

He had his cd's stolen a few months ago...you would think he learn:sad2:

well, if he keeps yelling at me....I won't have to worry about his background/credit check...he won't be married:rolleyes:

Kelly, that stinks. I had my wallet stolen when I worked in NYC. I had my calling card in there and the scumbags racked up $1200 in phone charges. My bill arrived in a box :scared1: .

Can someone explain to me why I thought it was a good idea to clean all the floors yesterday when I knew Libby was having a friend over today :headache: . This kid is really sweet but "please wipe your feet" are foreign words to her  .

BTW, DH leaves for a week long business trip tomorrow am I obligated to  as a send off:confused3 ?

I was mainly worried about the check/debit card...we had just gotten our paid and our tax return is in our account. :scared1:
That sucks about the calling card. Thank god for online access. I checked everything and it all looks ok. I am assuming that they were looking for cash.

as for  .....I am obviously not the one to ask.....I feel obligated to  because he's bringing home Ben & jerry's.....then again, I only see my DH on Tuesdays, Saturdays(if I don't sleep)and Sundays.

He gets the dancing banana for Ben & Jerry's? :rolleyes1 You are easy... ;)

::yes:: but that's only because I haven't seen him since Tuesday...tomorrow..... no  ...
my husband claims its my catholic school upbringing :rotfl: :rotfl:
