It kinda sucks to be traveling on your birthday, huh? What are you doing today? Anything special?

Nah. Dh wanted to see Graceland. So we're driving to Memphis to pay tribute to The KIng. Then we'll spend the night in Nashville. No other plans really. Margarita, no problemo.

Inspired by your "what treat would you buy yourself" thread from the other day, Tig, today I'm going to take the $100 of "found money" I happened upon this week and go buy myself some new clothes for the April trip. We'll have to see how far I can make $100 go!

ok...I am gonna ask you a question. I just started a thread about this, but I have to ask anyway. My DH just got his butt out of bed and informed me that his job is requiring them to get another background check, complete with finger prints, running his driver's license, and a CREDIT check. He drives a forklift in a warehouse, why on earth after 5 years of employment would they want a credit check? anyone have any idea? they also want my SS#, and all my history:birthplace, past marriages, past residencies..... WTH???

I am so excited for the meet this week if it was not for me being sick and extra expenses from that I would be driving up there

ok, I guess I will mention this out loud now, since I have the DVC booked, and still have to book a flight, I will be in WDW end of April/May if any of yhou PMSers would like to meet up, should I go to the other board and post the dates? I would not mind having a meet while I am down there, and I KNOW where the Fiesta Margarita place is


and I am taking a 4 day weekend in June if anyone would like to name another destination for a meet, whether Williamsburg, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, where ever. I would like to go to the beach that weekend, so anyone game??

that's what I thought....some of these questions are off the wall!!! they want his selective service #...... they want to know what illegal drugs he has used in the last 3 years(now he has been there for 5 years, with many random drug tests..they should know that answer )

You've already seen my post on your thread...but to take it a bit further, I could see them asking some of these questions if they determined he needed bonded or some kind of security clearances. But for them to ask information about YOU seems totally out of line.

He could ask them if his job is dependent on these forms, but that may be seen as insubordination.

Finding out from the Labor board (or whoever) will give you the legal backing to refuse or comply.

Good luck with this...it seems really odd for something to happen after he's been there so long.
