PM EMH Discontinued for World Showcase

Does anybody know why?

We just did it in January,but a Poster on another Thread posted that they walked through Canada and United Kingdom and everything was closed and then they were turned away at the entrance to France.

I REALLY hate this-PM EMH was our favorite time to tour WS!

You may be jumping to conclusions. The poster in the other thread seems to be talking about something that happened last year. There would have been news about any major changes.

As you can see several attractions are listed as being open:

Epcot — Evenings
The following attractions are open during evening Extra Magic Hours at Epcot:

Perhaps the person in the other thread was confused: maybe EMH that night ended at 10p? Or it wasn't an EMH: I stay at BC often, and it does seem like Epcot is open much later than it is due to the restaurants and special tours (e.g., we saw Soarin after park close via travel agent's special event - we didn't walk to BC until about 10pm; I could swear Epcot was still open, there were so many guests still around both FW and WS).

As to my knowledge there has been no such announcement and the linked post was discussing something that happened last year, closing this thread.
