Hi Just booked Disney Paris for 5 nights in October. First time so very excited. Have two sons of 4 & 6. Main question is about the rides. My husband is a big man and I dont want him embarrassed about the fact that he cannot fit comfortably on the rides with our sons. Especially concerned about the roller coaster type ones. Can some-one advice if this is going to cause us any problems.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Zafira and welcome.

Hopefully it shouldn;t be a worry. I am 6ft2 and at my worst I have weighed 26.5 stone (I'm now down to 23 thank goodness, but more to go). I have not yet ridden the two new Studios Attractions (Crush and Cars), but I have ridden everything else many times. Indiana Jones is a little hard on the knees, and on Space Mountain and Rock N Rollercoaster, the front of each car has more leg room. So you should be fine. If he is bigger than me and worried, then talk to the cast member at the entrance of each attraction. The beauty about Disney is people of all sizes can ride most things.

Beware clothing wise. The XXL and XXXL's if you can find them are a little smaller than US/British sizes, so that could be a little disappointing.

But in the main he should be fine. Have a great time!!!

My hubby is 6ft 1 and he was worried about this too but at 16st he was ok for all the rides. We saw alot of larger people over there and they all seemed to be having a superb time...I'm sure your husband will be fine...as for the rollercoasters especially aerosmith...the bigger the better...then you don't move:scared1: Trust me moving about on that is BAD!!!:rotfl: And that was with the safety bars as tight as I could get them!!;)

Hope you have a brill time and please tell your husband not to worry cause he will spoil it for himself fretting about it.:)

One other ride to watch out, on Orbitron, if you ride, your husband may be best flying solo or with one little one. 2 adults are a real squeeze when you are as big as me.
