Plus Dinning option on a room only reservation?

I used the BDP code to save about $1000 on our trip to the Poly in April. I think the Plus Dinning option would be a good value for my family, but my understanding of the dining option is that you have to add it on to a 'vacation package'. Am I correct that I can't just add it to my room-only package?

Unless they change things, you can only add on the dining plan if you convert your discount back to rack rate and add on MYW tickets and dining plan to make a package.
