Pls tell me your favorite QS meal or snack.

In MK our favorites were Columbia HH and Cosmic Rays. Main St bakery had great pastries, I would love to try lunch there with sandwiches next time.
AK we did the yak and yeti QS and that was good, but we will try Flame Tree next time becasue everyone raves about it!
Epcot is my favorite for food- we love eating in the World Showcase! Unfortunately we weren't there enough to try much but I don't think you can go wrong, there is something for everyone. Sunshine Seasons is very popular too but with the world having so much non traditional Disney food we probably will never find out!
HS we have only had Pizza Planet, it was fine.. I will try Starring Rolls next time :)

For a dinner OOP I would go with Boma! We LOVE Ohana food and atmosphere, but it was pricier and less option (still tons, but you get what they bring) since Boma is a buffet. It was our favorite meal and we are absolutely going again next time. Especially if you're kids are adventurous eaters! My ds was only 5 and dd was 1 they mostly had chicken, pasta, salad and dessert but tried some of our other things.

Also - if you like the American favorite of hot dogs and fries, Casey's Corner in the Magic Kingdom serves some killer dogs!

I have a hard core addiction to the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbor House. Everything about it is so good--the bread, the tuna salad itself and the always fresh and juicy tomato slices. Yum!

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is another great place for a CS meal, but go early. The best bakery items get taken by late afternoon and they don't restock the counter until the next day.

Also love the food at the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. If you like gyros, you'll enjoy the swarma platters.

Snacks--there are so many! Dole Whip Floats, frozen Cokes, gelato in Italy, kaki-gori snowcones. I could type pages on what's great to get.

Hope you have a wonderful trip, OP. :wizard:

Just booked ASSp with free dining stay in mid Sept for our family vacation and to celebrate my twins 13th b-day!!! They both eat like adults and will try ALMOST everything.

What I would like to know...
1. What your families favorite QS meal or place to to eat.
2. Your opinion on where to splurge on an OOP birthday meal at a TS resturant.
Thank you

This is asking a lot to make us pick one. :lmao:

Family Favorite: Pecos Bill's @ MK for the burgers & the fixin' stations. Everyone makes it the way they like & everyone loves the burgers, even the non burger eaters in the group [like me:goodvibes]. +Cheese fries::love: & the taco salad is delish!:thumbsup2

'Ohana::woohoo: enough said.

We like Columbia House at MK for counter service. Also Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney has really good food and is considered cs.

Favorite Counter Service:
Downtown Disney - Earl of Sandwich (this is probably my favorite one overall of all the CS everywhere)
Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Rays (love the chicken/ribs combo)
Epcot - We never eat CS here because there are so many good TS places! :) Or we go during Food & Wine Festival and snack around the world. If I had to pick though I'd say Boulangerie Patisserie in France
Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree or Yak & Yeti
DHS - Starring Roles

And for a special meal, Ohana is a must do for us. We've had great experiences there so far.

MK: Casey's Corner - amazing hotdogs & love the cotton candy for dessert option
Columbia harbour house- make sure you sit upstairs!

EPCOT: Germany CS- love the brat & hotdog. The dessert is also delicious!
Sunshine Season- huge variety & indoor seating

DHS: Starring Rolls - huge sandwiches & delicious, enormous, unique cupcakes (dessert option).

AK: Flame Tree BBQ- delicious BBQ! I love the sandwich. The seating outdoors is nice too. Last Sept we watched guys catching & removing a gator from the pond.

Since last year I've been determined to eat at the places that weren't the basic burger joints. :thumbsup2

MK: Lunch -- Columbia Harbor House
Dinner -- Cosmic Rays Chicken and Ribs
Epcot: Lunch -- Japan Pavillion
Dinner == Tangerine Cafe
AK: Lunch -- Andapur Locals
Dinner -- Flame Tree BBQ
DHS -- Uhmn ------ Stop at Mcdonalds before you get to the park?

DTD -- Wolfgang Puck Cafe

At the resort -- the chicken Penne alfredo is awesome.

Love Flame Tree BBQ and Columbia Harbor House...a nice break from the more boring QS standards.

Snack:soft pretzel w/ cheese sauce & giant pickle [only $1] I love the corn on the cob sold in Liberty Square.:thumbsup2
