Helllooooooooo

Just wondering if PI is worth it ? Not into dancing, is there other good stuff to do there? Also whats the crowd like?

Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's club--I could hang out at those places all night.

Plus PI is free with the Park hopper plus I believe (correct me somebody--I never buy these--better deal on AP and Fla Res SP for me).

Oh--and depending on how early a bird you are--if you get there before 7pm it would be free to get in--I don't know if they kick people out and then ask for tickets, or if you will get the appropriate over 21 paraphalia (ala wrist bands and such--I haven't been in a while, so please correct me again).

BUT--there are places to eat and there are shops to keep you busy perhaps until the stores open.

But Disney nightclubs do mean disney drink prices!

Otherwise, enjoy the aforementioned clubs in previous posts.

I think it depends on what you liek to do... if you enjoy the club scene and dancing, then its GREAT - you only pay one cover and get to visit several clubs at the same time.

There are 3 (is that right, just 3?) that aren't specifically dance clubs... Comedy, Adventurers, and Jazz. Comedy usually has a line to get in for later shows, Adventurers wasn't TOO crowded, and the Jazz isnt usually crowded depending upon whos playing.

I have spent the most time at the Jazz club, and I love the environment there. Quiet, dark, comfy, and entertaining.

Totally depends on your personality and what you enjoy =)

If you enter the Island before 7pm, you can stay on the Island once it officially "opens." However, if you want to buy drinks or go into any of the clubs, you need to have a wristband on, which will require that you go back outside and purchase admission. Everyone wears a wristband -- they're color-coded by age.

Like everyone else has said, it really depends on what type of person you are. My husband and I went this last trip. I'm not big into dancing. I'm 29, and I don't act or look like I'm in college anymore. The theming is very well done for each place. Since we have never been there before, we did walk around to each of the bars. The disco club was packed with the young crowd. Not our thing. The beach club was empty. We went to the Adventurer's Club and The Comedy Club, and we had a blast! I wish we would have spent the whole evening at those two. Drinks are quite expensive, but good. We will plan on going again. And, it is not free to get in if you have a park hopper plus. You can use one of your pluses for Pleasure Island, though.

I don't know anything about it. But my evil twin had a VERY good time, and had a bit too much to drink...

...but I wouldn't know!:teeth:

We were there Monday night and DS-12 did not get a wristband, just a handstamp. We went to the Comedy Club and Adventurers Club. DS especially loved AC and we would have liked to stay for another show except it was getting late (it didn't open until around 9:00) and we wanted to hit the shops before they closed. There is also a band playing outside which was fun. As far as being worth it, that is kind of a personal decision; it was for us.

If you take full advantage of all the shows inside the Adventurers Club it is worth the price of admission alone. Make sure to sit at the bar when you first get there.

Kungaloosh!

I thought they didn't open PI until 7PM anymore.

What kinds of shows does the Adventurer's Club have? Are there specific show times or is it on-going entertainment all night?

It is basicaly on-going entertainment, at the AC.

All the action takes place in the following rooms: Mask Room, the Treasure Room or the Library, all of which are just off the Main Salon.

In the Main Salon, you have the "members" of the club going about the room, talking with thier guest in hopes that they will all become members of the club.

This is a great club. Its one that I never miss when I go to WDW. And for me its well worth the ticket price to get in, though I always us my UPH or Plus on my ticket to enjoy the place.

We didn't do the dance club either but really enjoyed the comedy club and the adventurer's club.

Kungaloosh...its an all purpose word. It can ean "Hello", "Goodbye", "Don't touch that because its dead"

:D

I think it's worth it. I'm not into dancing either and I like PI. There's more to do there than just dancing. There's the comedy club and the Adventurer's Club, which I've never been to but I heard is great. The Rock 'N' Roll Beach Club sometimes has a live band. You can also play pool and air hockey there. PI also has some shops that you can buy Disney related items as well as non-Disney items. If you have the time, I would definitely check it out.

DH and I are both pushing 60. As you might guess we are not into "clubbing". BUT, we LOVE PI! The Comedy Club and Adventurer's Club are great. Others have mentioned the expensive drink prices, but you are not obligated to buy any drinks at all. I MAY have one glass at one club, but not always, and it's never been a problem. Both DH and I have been the lucky ones to sit next to the red phone in the Comedy Club! What a hoot! But the Adventurer's Club can be even more fun. The different routines are continous throughout the evening, so whenever you arrive, just be sure to stay long enough to see them all. Kunglagoosh!

Ok I understand about the clubs with dance music and entertainment. But I thought their was some kind of music or entertainment in the streets. Thought that would be fun without having to go into the clubs. Am I correct in thinking about bands in the street like you see on tv specials sometimes?:rockband:

Inquiring minds need to know!! :cool1: :confused3 :rockband:

Usually there will be a band playing on the stage closest to the West End (ironically called the West End Stage).
