When you get your race packet at DisneyWorld, one of the things in there is a free pass for you to get into treasure island for a party after the Marathon on Sunday. You can buy extra passes at the gate for I think $5.00.

You can get in all the clubs that are Disney with no cover charge and I think they have special drink prices. It goes from 7:00 pm till 3 am.

Erica and I are planning on going. Who else is in?? Where shall we meet??

There are comedy clubs, a blues club, a dance club and the adventures club. We only went to the 8 track dance club, it was fun. But we would love to see some of the others to. Anyone know there way around Pleasure Island??

Yes this is a wear your medals party.

I'm not sure how I'll be feeling after the big events. AC would be most likely the place I'll be heading if we make it there at all.

Runners get in free and up to 3 others can get 50% off(not $5).

I will need a ECV if I go!

Like Robert and Dave said, admission is free for the runner. You'll show your race number at the ticket trailer to get a free wristband for yourself, and half price admission for up to three others.

I'm sure M'Lisse, Stephen, and I will be there (God and my knees willing ;) ). Last year, we REALLY enjoyed this evening at PI. Everyone was walking around wearing their medals. You could practically hear everyone giving a collective sigh as they relaxed after months of training, and celebrated their achievements. I don't think the drinks were reduced, (after all Mickey's gotta make up for the free admissions), but it seemed like a great way to cap off the weekend.

I was looking a the Adventures club information on the Disney site. It looks like fun as does the comedy club. Has anyone been to either of these?

I haven't been to CC for a while but was lots of fun. As they say, Disney rated comedy. I have never been to AC but have heard it is great fun:)

Then we need to do the adventurers club. WISH and adventure seems a good match to me.

Denise and I will be there! We don't have park tickets so we'll probably rest up until the awards ceremony. I think it starts at 5:30 at PI??

We don't have a lot of PI experience but I trust Dave will have it all figured out by Sunday night.

enjoy,
Duane

Both the Comedy Warehouse, and the Adventurer's Club, are fun and worth doing. For the Comedy Warehouse, you basically sit in the audience, and watch with some minor interaction with the performers. At the Adventurer's Club, the performers will interact with the guests as much as possible. There are "shows" scheduled, but a lot of the fun just happens off of the cuff while you're waiting for a show.

Sounds like a winner lets start with the adventurer's club. Doesn't the PI open for the evening at 7Pm?

We could all meet at the main entrance at 7pm.

When we got there last year there was a huge line for the comedy club.

Most of the "clubs" were playing very loud music, which I just can't handle. We ended up walking over to a nearby restaurant and sat in the lounge instead.

Man, I really am showing my age.....:scared1: :lmao: :goodvibes

You are preaching to the choir! If it's too loud, please save me a seat in the lounge. :)

My vote would be for the Adventurer's Club. If I can walk after the Goofy, we plan on being there from open to close.

Paul

Adventurer's club all the way! Lots of fun.. :)

And Dave.. I KNOW you will have a target on your back and end up being a participant!! :) At some point you would end up onstage!

Ya think!

I'm always a target, never have learned to keep my head down and my mouth shut.

Please say it is not so, Dave and Robert have never been to the Adventures Club,I am shocked and there is not much that shocks me.

We are finishing our basement on an Adventures Club theme!!!

I need a place to display my stuff from past adventures and a place to store the stuff from adventures yet to be had.

Kongaloosh!!! ( that will make sense later)
