I am correct in presuming that we will still need to use a 'plus' on our 5 day Hoppers for DQ although the admission fee for PI has temporarily been waived?

Forgive my stupidity but are Westside and Marketplace all areas within PI, or is an additional entrance fee required to these areas? It's been a long ten years since our last DisneyFix and it was just PI back then!

Thanks in advance!! :)

The Disney Quest building is separate from Pleasure island and is in Downtown Disney West Side.

Downtown Disney consists of The Market Place, West Side and Pleasure Island.

Admission to Market Place and West Side is free. Pleasure Island is what it says - an island that is roughly between Market Place and West Side.

Shows the whole of Downtown Disney. Market Place is on the far top right, West Side is on the left (DQ is blue building, Cirque is the white building). Pleasure Island is just below the white boat (Fultan's Crab House) and above the blue dome thingy (Planet Hollywood).

Hope that helps :)

I could be wrong about this - but I think you wil need to use a plus feature. I think they have stopped charging at the gate outside PI - but you do have to pay up or give in your ticket if you decide to go in one of the clubs.

I guess they figure people who might not go to PI - will check it out - see the outside of the clubs and so on and decide to go for it & get a ticket.

Just to clarify your memory, the Disney Marketplace has been there since WDW opened, but during your last visit it was still called WDW Village. It later became the Disney Village Marketplace and then in 98 was renamed the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

Ahh, thanks. It doesn't take much to confuse me at the moment! :)
