You have all made me feel very welcome, thanks so much. We first went to Florida for our 15th Wedding Anniversary in 2000. We did a cruise for the first week and then Disney for the second week.
The Magic Kingdom stole my heart on that trip and that warm feeling returns whenever I think about it. When I got off the monorail for the first time and heard the music playing I burst into tears and it has had the same effect everytime since ... I know you will all understand how this feels.
We have been back several times since and for me it just gets better and better. When we went back in 2005 for our 20th Anniversary we managed to do all the parks including Discovery Cove and Busch Gdns. I will never forget the look of joy on the face of my DH when we swam with the dolphins.
For Christmas last year DH booked me a surprise trip back again for 1 week in March this year. We had another fantastic holiday. We got a chance to do EE and Soarin this time. Eventhough we only went for 1 week we managed to do all the parks plus US & IOA, Seaworld and Busch.
I think it gets better each time you go because you can then concentrate on the things you want to do in each park rather than trying to cram everything in.
My favourite park will always be The Magic Kingdom but I love all the other parks too. DH loves all the big rides at IOA & Busch but I prefer to stand and listen to the screams from the ground. I do however love rides like Mummy, Spidey and Jurrasic Park and don't mind getting wet.
I think my all time favourite thing though if I had to pick one experience would have to be watching Wishes, truly magical and guaranteed to get the tears flowing.
