I just had abdominal surgery. I have strict orders not to ride anything that will jerk me around. This was my 8th surgery, and I sure don't want to cause myself to need a 9th one!!!

I know what to avoid at Disney, but I have no idea about Universal & IOA.

Any tips? :confused3

you should post this on the Universal sub board, you would get a ton of answers..
I will say you should not ride any any coasters & the Simpsons, Jimmy Neutron & Shreck for sure!

do not ride anything except

twister,
horror fx show
sinbad
jaws might be ok

(cannot comment on shreck or jimmy nutron)

Thanks for all the info! Unfortunately I am stuck going because I promised my kids before I got sick (and I REALLY want to see HP). We thought about DH taking them without me and me getting a day alone at EPCOT, but the kids begged me to go with them...

Actually, as a parent, I find that watching the kids have fun is a real kind of fun all by itself. My husband and I have spent time in places like Canada's Wonderland just kicking back on a bench with a drink while the kids do all the rides that we really, really don't want to do. It's nice seeing how happy they are.

Oh... and you can add a couple shows in the WWOHP to your list, as well. Olivanders, and the Frog Choir and Beauxbatons and Durmstrang shows are all just things you watch. (Assuming you can get through the crowds to see them!) The shops are supposed to be fun, too. Plus, you can walk through the castle to see all the sights and take the exit to check out Filch's while they ride.

Also, if I was in your shoes, I'd be making darn sure that the family takes me to a cool themed restaurant for lunch, like Mythos.

Have fun!

I like the way you think! :thumbsup2 Thanks!!! :goodvibes

You could probably handle Jimmy Neutron as it has stationary seating as well. :)

I hope you have fun!
