Please tell me we won't go crazy at POP!

We have changed our reservations from 10 nights at POFQ to 4 nights at Pop and 6 nights at POFQ because I know my 2 boys will love the whole Toy Story theming and the general vibe of the place but of course the rooms are small. There's me, hubby, 11 year old son, 8 year old son and 1 year old baby. I'm thinking it's worth being cramped for 4 nights to get the buzz of All-stars and, more importantly, to experience two resorts instead of just the one. Please reassure me and tell me we won't go nuts in the room for 4 nights!!! It will be ok right?? I'm really excited :bounce: but the choices at Disney, oh the choices are just too many!!! :)

P.S. I'm booking through Small World Vacations and they are wonderful!

Unless you plan to spend a LOT of time in your room ... I think you'll be fine! Cozy maybe but not crazy! :grouphug: We were two adults, a 13 yr old and a 7 year old in a POP room and we never felt cramped. Of course we spent almost every waking moment at the parks, DTD or the POP pools ... we didn't hang out in the room much at all ... maybe an hour or so in the morning and then from whatever time we got in at night till we fell asleep.

If your 1 yr old can sleep with the other kids or with you then you should be fine. The beds are just regular 'double beds' though, so you'll sleep a little closer than you might in queen or king beds, but other than that, i think you should be okay for a few nights.

I personally love POP (it's just so very Disney to me) and I think your boys will love it, but wanted to let you know that there is no Toy Story theming at POP - that's over at All-Star Movies. allearsnet.com has great pics of all the resorts so you can see exactly which has what.

Welcome to the DIS, DebIreland!

As Kandmwedding said, the Toy Story theming is at All Star Movies not Pop Century, so make sure that is the value resort you are booked at if it's that important.

Which resort are you staying at first? I hope you are staying at the value resort and then moving up to the moderate resort. It will be easier to adjust to the higher level of resort than to downgrade.

We split our stay between POP and POFQ last year and, although we're glad we tried POFQ, it just didn't have the Disney magic like POP.

We're splitting our stay in July and going to POP for 10 nights and WL for 4. Prior to that we went to All Star Movies 3 times all for 14 nights, so no, you won't go crazy - you'll love it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pop last year and was impressed with transportation and all.

Ooops. Sorry. see how confused I am? I was originally thinking Pop Century and then reckoned that with the whole Toy Story theming at All-Star Movies that might be best and yet here I combined both! Sorry. It's All-Star movies for 4 nights, then moving to POFQ! Thanks for all the great responses. This is a great board!
