Hi everyone! I don't have too much time to spend on the DIS like I used to. I was supposed to be in a car on my way to WDW with my DH right now but we had to cancel our trip. It was an adults-only trip to celebrate our 15th anniversary so I'm a little :sad1: right now.

We are DVC members and because we had to cancel so close to the arrival date, our points are in a holding acct. We have to use them before Nov. 30 or we will lose them. After looking at our schedules we could rebook for early November (around the 5th/6th until the 10th.) The worst part is we have to wait until September to book these "held" points.

But what I am mainly wondering is, what is early November like? I've been there just about every other month/season but have no clue what the weather is, how crowded the parks are, etc, etc during this time. The bonus is that we will be there for the Food & Wine Festival:yay: which I haven't been to yet. It will be an adults-only trip (we are taking the kids in August). Thanks for any & all tips/advice. I really appreciate it!!:goodvibes

Early November is really great! We were there the week of 11/15 last year and are returning for the same week this year. We missed the Food & Wine Festival, although we were not interested in it anyway. I would suggest you book as soon as you are able to since the festival is a busy time at WDW, especially at the DVC properties. Weekends are especially busy.

The holiday decorations were up at the parks and most of the resorts -- the gingerbread house at the GF, the "iced" Cinderella Castle at the MK. The Osborne Lights started at DHS on 11/8, but I have not heard this year's date yet. Also, MVMCP was in full swing on several nights.

The weather was good -- 80's, but not too humid and it was warm enough to swim. The evenings were a tad cool, but not overly so.
