Please tell me about transportation from the Universal resorts to the parks

Can you walk to the parks from the 3 resorts, or only from HRH? If you cannot walk, how long does the boat take from each of the resorts? Still having a hard time deciding between the 3, although now I'm leaning towards RPR or PBH.

from all three hotels, PBH, HRH, RPH , you can reach the park by:

1. walking
2. water taxi/boats
3. internal bus
4. rickshaws


walking from
HRH: about 7 minutes
RPH: about 10-11 minutes
PBH: about 14-15 minutes


i based the walking on how long it took me.
i'm not a fast walker but neither am i a slow poke.

We stayed at RPR and it was for us a 5-8 minute walk. We don't walk a lot often but when we do we love it! We were also toting a 6 month old in a baby bjorn and a baby bag. The boats were nice for the trip home but the walk to the parks was pretty nice int he am to get going, especially after the amazing Hawaiian pancakes at RPR!

My parents are from a large city and they walk a lot and they too agreed that the walk from RPR to the parks wasn't bad at all.
