I got my dates for 8 nights in a studio at the VGC in May...yeah!!! This is the main reason we bought into DVC. We love, love, love the Grand, but this will be our first time staying in a studio and our first stay as DVC owners. I have looked at the pics and read the threads, but still have a few questions. How comfortable are the pull out beds? We like alot of blankets, can we request extra? Where can we do our laundry? Is it free? How big is the fridge? What do the porchs overlook?

Thanks for your answers...so excited!!!

I can only respond to one question about the pull out bed...and of course, it's just an opinion...but my DD always when on vacation sleeps on the pull out...idk why she loves them so much...anyway she has always said how much she loved the pull out at GCV and that it was nice and comfy...

...oh yes you can do laundry...it is free...you need to get tokens if I remember correctly...but I don't remember where the laundry room is located...

I broke out the Guest Map from my stay. The coin operated laundry room is located thusly: along the corridor that runs at right angles from the entrance/Great Hall, on the first floor. So in other words, as you enter VGC, you'd make a right down the corridor and go all the way to the end.

We stayed in a studio at the VGC in June. DS thought the pull out couch was very comfortable. Yes, you can request extra blankets. :) We did, and they arrived shortly after we made the call.

Fridges in a studio are like the small ones that are in most hotel rooms. If I remember correctly, they are the bigger ones. (They seem taller than some)

I think we were on the 3rd floor and our room overlooked DCA. We could see the Paradise Pier area pretty well. It was really pretty to see it at night.

We absolutely loved the room! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!
