We stayed at the Blue Heron in late April when my daughter competed in Epcot. The location was fantastic. There is a Starbucks, Subway and Cici's pizza that were within walking distance, right in front of the hotel. There were tons of restaurants just a short, 5 minute drive away. We did not use shuttles, so I cannot comment on that. The hotel looks a little dated from the outside, but the units are nice, clean, spacious and well stocked. There is a pool bar and you can purchase food onsite at the bar. If the price was right, we would stay there again. The Blue Heron is located directly across the street from the popular, Sheraton Vistana Resort. Hope this helps.
