We would really like to try some of their food, but know nothing about it. I've read the menu and am still clueless. I do like hummus, have heard of tabbouleh (but don't know what it tastes like) and am baffled about taziki sauce!
I know a lot of people rave about it, but we didn't care for it. I don't even remember what we got, some sort of sandwich with some side salads. I didn't like any of it and ended up getting something else a little later from the France bakery.
Tabbouleh is like a middle eastern pasta salad...very yummy. And taziki sauce is the yogurt/cucumber sauce that is put on lamb kabobs and gyros. Also very yummy.
This place is essentially a slightly upscale version of your local greek deli. I loved it (but then I love greek food).
In all of our trips we had never tried this palce for lunch so in Dec. we did and loved it. We had the schwarma platter. We didn't care for the tabullueh so we had them change the sides to the hummus (very good) and there was an olive salad(excellent) then had the wrap. This is one of our new favorites. The baklava here is also very good. We stay at the BCV so we often just walk over for a piece at night or bring it back for breakfast the next morning. Definately worth trying.
We tried it last September and it's now our favorite CS place!! We both got the chicken and lamb schawarma platters. It was so much food that I couldn't finish it. DD had a kids cheese pizza, as usual.
This place has great food. And if you're on DDP, it is one of the best places to get the most for your CS credits. That Schwarma platter has a lot of food. If you like gyros/Greek type of food, you'll really like this! And of course, have some baklava!!!
I went last Sept. for lunch. DH and I split up since I don't eat Japanese. I had some kind of chicken pita and couscous with baclava for dessert. Honestly, it was better than our dinner at Marrakesh the night before. Service was slow and it was not busy but the food was hot and fresh!
