Please tell me about dinner at Teppanyaki?

Well, there are many on the boards that rave about Teppanyaki. We ate there in September and it was good and very plentiful. However, I must say, if you often eat Teppanyaki (i.e. Bennihana, Tokyo Joe's, etc.), I really didn't think it was anything very out of the ordinary. We certainly enjoyed our meal, but we will probably try something different next time since I can basically get this at home.

We would never go back. We have Benihana's near us and it is so much better.

The overpriced is generally true of most Teppanyaki, at least compared to other restaurants of similar ilk. That said, the one at Epcot, in my few visits there, was enjoyable, but unremarkable, especially if you have similar restaurants near your home (we have several in North Atlanta).

The highlight of our last visit there was meeting a couple of Canadians who were animators, and talking to them about their jobs while they talk to us about American health care and politics. It was a blast and I think we ended up missing Illuminations, but it was worth it.

Teppanyaki was not good for us, we have some much better Japanese steakhouses in our area and the food and service were not up to par in my opinion. We did Teppanyaki last year for the CP dinner package and were terribly disappointed, this year we did Le Cellier and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Le Cellier is the best dinner we have ever had at any WDW restaurant.

We love Teppanyaki!

We eat lunch there, though, b/c its the same food and portions as dinner but costs less.
