So I'm new to the DIS Boards
and wanted to start my Pre-Trip Report post here. Having never done this before please be kind. I'm still a Newbie. This will be our 3rd trip to visit the World. DH and I have been 2 times before: For our Disneymoon in 2000, stayed at the Polynesian, the second time in 2003 staying at the Grand Floridian. We are so jazzed to be visiting again after a hiatus of over 6 years now!
First off, the Cast includes Me
and my DH
I am a 38 year old SAHM without the "Mom" title. I work out of my home as a Costume Designer for Musical Theatre and have started my own Costume Rental business. Which is helping us to take more vacations!
Plus also we had a string of good luck pass our way in the form of some rather nifty IPhone applications placed up on the Apple IPhone store that were a runaway hit.
IPHONE KOI POND:

Click on the left hand box under Entertainment and scroll down to Koi Pond. We were number one for over 3 months this summer!
At .99 cents its a steal! Plus its a totally Zen application, got great reviews too.
Luckily for us we hope to continue to be as lucky to afford more trips to the World. Living in So Cal we are also blessed to have Disneyland in our backyard and being Annual Passholders to Disney Heaven we are fortunate to get our Disney Fix monthly or so.
So when DH came to me and said that we were financially in the red for the first time in years, he asked, "Why don't we go to Walt Disney World again this winter?" very casually, I almost hit the floor.
Now DH is a computer programmer and doesn't make these suggestions lightly.
"Uhmmm.....yesssssss." Said I.
"Well, let's go then." Says He.
So we went out and did it in Nov. Today I'm picking up the Travel Package from Carefree Travel in our local San Diego area. Our travel agent was friendly and all, but she was curious as to why two 30 year olds wanted to visit WDW without kids. WITHOUT KIDS!
Like we should visit Paris or Rome or something. Who needs culture when you've got the Mouse down in Florida?
Besides we are 2 freaks who love Disney. Nerds to the core, what can I say?
So it's two weeks before we get on the plane to "Our Place."
I'm counting down the days frantically. It seems like forever. Rest assured that we have our cameras fully loaded up and refreshed and this trip we are going to use them religiously.
More to come as I can type it up. Hope this is a good start.
