OMG!!! That was NOT even funny!!!! I was sitting here thinking, "oh my god. keep me away from february." It wasn't even one of those scared shrieks; more like stay calm, don't make eye contact, and run!!!!

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour in Jan 06. While we entering Liberty Square, she said that if you can see pavement on the walkway, it's not really crowded...

Well that last picture of the drawbridge brought to mind a funny story......funny to me..........not to the guy who had just bought 3 Huge ice cream cones for his family on the other side not realizing that they were about to raise the bridge. We stood there forever waiting for the explosives barge to pull thru. By the time the bridge went back down there wasn't much left of the ice cream in the cones. Was all dripping down his hand and arm. Poor guy. I'll bet that if he'd gone back to the ice cream stand they would've been understanding and replaced the cones, but he trudged on over the bridge, I guess hoping to get to his family with at least a few melty licks left.

About an hour before the fireworks. (Of course, it looked like this about THREE hours before the fireworks, too...)

3 hours before the fireworks is nothing!!! check out these shots from Tokyo Disneyland. they were from 09:17 in the morning on the 29th of december - people getting a good spot for the holiday fireworks at 8pm that night. people queued in the morning from around 6am. the fireworks were on all that week, too.

even the tripods queued up early

they had around 10 CMs keeping people from gathering in the area in front of the castle. it was like a rodeo!
