I posted on another thread that we had trouble with the food availability at AKL Jambo and Kidani. PLEASE, this is NOT a post for complaining! Just share to help others who will be at your resort soon.
Of course,Jambo had nothing available and we expected that. Kidani only had the limited pool bar food service and gift shop offerings in the evening. Pool bar closed at 8 and the shop closed at 9. The Sana’a was sit-down only for dinner and you could get the same food from the lounge but the wait times were very long (1-2 hours).
I don’t know if Kidani was fully booked but we all heard of many, many people being moved there from other resorts.
We used Uber Eats two nights, as did many others.
I know this is a fluid situation and something that nobody has ever experienced so let’s share what we know so others can make informed decisions. Personally, we would have place a larger Garden Grocer order if we had realized how limited the evening food choices were going to be. We expected the resort shop to be open later, like usual.
