We are going to DLRP in September(DH, DD 12 DS 9 and myself)

DS and DD are contemplating going on some of the "bigger" rides but I am a ride wimp::scared:

They talked me onto Star Tours in January (Me    Them :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

I was wondering if DH could go on a ride like Space Mountain with DD whilst I waited with DS(whilst having a panic attack in the queue) and then DH go on it with DS as they won't want to go on them without their dad:hug:

I suppose I could go on if I MUST but I don't think it'll help the kids me needing pre/during and post ride therapy:rotfl:

Or should we just queue up twice:confused3

I suppose it has some similarities to baby switch but not sure if CM's would allow it. Any ideas?

I am not sure if they will allow it if the kids are tall enough to ride, you could get 4 fastpasses and then gives yours to your DH he can use the fastpass queue twice with each child.

They have a policy there... I do not know if it applies...
You go into line with the hub and the kids.. He rides first, while you hold the kids, then the person rides, while he gets the kids. I actually saw something about it on the Disney Info Channel in the hotel, and I can't remember the name of the policy!!!

I am a big ride chicken too- I sit in the Que with my gut in knots... then the ride starts and I laugh and scream my as... um... head off.

I will look around and see if I can find the info on the policy for you...

My feeling of baby switch is that you would be allowed to do this, since you would not be leaving DS unattended with CM's but with yourself :)

someone I know takes her kid in the queue for space mountain, gets in firts, and out the other side and leaves then and waits at the exit:rolleyes:

I don't think this situation is like baby swap at all as the adults are not swapping place and the two children are tall enough to ride.

Not sure if you'll be able to do this :confused3 but it's definitely worth asking.

If not possible, would DD and DS consider riding together so long as DH was sat behind?
