Disney ended its contract with Travelex.
My upcoming trip will be in the summer.
Can someone please recommend me a company that offers good travel cancellation insurance?
I will be using my Chase Disney credit card to pay for this trip ....

Thank you.

AIG Travelguard. We used them several years ago and they paid without a problem. My wife ended up in the hospital and AIG paid the extra hotel, air fare, and hospital co-payment.

We were really happy with RoamRight. We had to use it, and they came through. I got really sick 2 days before our trip and my ear drum was bulging and about to rupture, and my physician said I should not fly. We delayed our trip 4 days and Roam Right covered the airfare changes and the hotel reiumbursement. Had to provide lots of documents, of course. We've also used Allianz for several trips but never had to use it, just purchased the policy. They and Roam Right seem to have the most comprehensive plans for the best prices.

I booked Travelex through their website for our June trip and have a cancel for any reason clause in my plan.

A second vote for Travelex. They have been around for a long time and claims process has always been straightforward.

For just trip cancellation-interruption I’ve used CAA (Canadian AAA) but for travel medical I use Blue Cross. Especially because I have extended medical thru work. Many travel medical policies aren’t “first pay”. If you happen to have medical insurance thru work, some travel policies will cover you, then go after your primary or extended medical policy for reimbursement. If it’s a serious injury, or illness it could wipe out your policy. It’s a good thing to check travel medical policies to see if they are First Pay. They won’t tell you up front.

We also used RoamRight for a trip scheduled for January 2017. I had to cancel because of hospitalization. We had rented DVC points and even though the company I rented them from wouldn’t provide them documentation of their no cancellation policy or answer questions, we were fully refunded within a few weeks.
