Please recommend a 2-credit meal...

DH & I will be dining at Narcoosee's around 5:30 one evening. I know it's early for a nice dinner, but I don't trust DSis in the parks with DD8 during the Wishes cattle herd!

Anyhow, we planned on taking DD out to Narcoosee's for an 8:00 dinner one evening so we could watch Wishes from there. Now, I'm wondering if an evening on the Boardwalk at Flying Fish wouldn't be better. Or, are there any other 2 credits you can recommend? Thanks!

California Grill!!! We had dinner at Narccossees and CG on our trip in Sept and while they were both excellent, CG was amazing. There were also a lot of kids at CG and you can watch the fireworks from the observation deck. We saw the fireworks from both restaurants, and the experience at CG was better. FF is good too, we ate there at our 7/06 trip and it's good but it doesn't have the ambience of the other two. Have fun, they are all great choices!

I'm with the post above, California Grill is fabulous! We had a fabulous anniversary dinner there and it was magic. The view of MK was great, although I couldn't go outside (terrified of heights). We were at the far right hand side of the restaurant when you go in and although we couldn't see MK from our table very well we had a great view of the electrical water pageant and also in the distance illuminations.

I can't wait to go back on our next trip, the food and service were top notch. The boardwalk is also nice but can get busy on a weekend evening and if wet its very slippy (summer rain). The FF we didn't get too but I've heard it's very good. Narcoosee's view isn't always great as lots of ppl staying at the Grand Floridian come and stand there as well so it can get busy and the restaurant view can be behond lots of other viewers outside.

I would not count on seeing Wishes from Narcoosees's. We had a *great* window front table for our anniversary a couple years ago. About 10 minutes before the show started two women came over and parked their very wide butts right in front of us! We had a perfect view of the castle until then which was ruined by the lookie-loos. It wasn't just us, but also a family next to us with a little girl who was too scared to be too close to the fireworks had their view ruined. I knocked on the window and waved them to the side but they just give me a snotty look and a better view of their butts. My DH held me back from going out and having a "word" with them .

Anyway ... I really like the California Grill too. And the Yachtman's Steakhouse. Flying Fish is good, but not 2 credits good IMO.
