Please note the following from the DISboards Guidelines:

FILTERED WORDS, NAMES and URLS
The DIS is a privately owned web site and we reserve the right to restrict any outside commercial ventures at our discretion. We will not discuss the reasons behind why specific websites are filtered and any discussion regarding the word filter may be deleted. If you have questions or comments about this or any other DISboards policy, you can address with the webmasters at admin@wdwinfo.com.
Our rules state that when referring to a business, you must use the full URL. This allows our filter to identify and block the URLs of business that have violated our policies. Despite the fact that it seems to be well known that certain travel agencies and other businesses have been banned from these boards, we still see people using nicknames to get around the word filter and post about these businesses.

This is a violation of the board rules. Filter violations carry 30 points, and the points persist for 30 days. I've been trying to avoid assigning points, but the postings continue, and that means that businesses that have repeatedly violated our terms of service get free advertising on our boards.

From now on, any mention of a banned business that is a clear attempt to get around the filter will result in infraction points being assigned. Hints for how to google to find a banned agency will receive a warning, and repeat offenders will receive infraction points. Requests for PMs with the name of a banned agency will be deleted. If you're bypassing the filter, you know you shouldn't be posting it, and you know that the post will be deleted, so all you're doing is creating extra work for the board staff.

I understand that people want to share good deals that they've found, and I understand wanting to get in on a deal that other people have found. But the owners and staff of the DISboards quite understandably do not want this site used to promote businesses that do not abide by our policies.

Thanks for your compliance with our guidelines.

Lynne
