There are a lot of things we don't allow on these boards that might not make sense at first glimpse. We don't allow posts soliciting for charities. We don't allow for sale threads. We only allow exchange threads under very strict guidelines.
The reason is simple. The internet is FILLED with fraud. Check your email inbox for spam and tell me how many of those offers you believe are legitimate. Maybe the company you are discussing here is legititmate I don't have any idea but we don't have the time or the resources to track down every one of these things and confirm whether or not they are!!! The intent is to protect our members and our reputation. If a bunch of people were to lose money because of something posted on our boards it would seriously undermine the legitimacy of the excellent information these boards provide.
Our moderaters are volunteers and we feel their time is better spent doing things related to Disney!
As someone pointed out there are plenty of boards dedicated to this sort of thing.
I would like to point out 2 other things. Attempts to get around the word filter are against the posting guidelines and attacks on our moderators will not be tolerated.
If you feel that your "cause" is something different please feel free to email admin@wdwinfo.com.
Generally speaking however there needs to be very special circumstances for us to allow any of this.
