Please note: Your party may be seated at more than one table

Okay, so I check to see if anything has opened up for 10/2 at Hollywood Studios. We have a res off-park and I think we may want to stay on-park. I really want SciFi, but it comes up a no go (for dinner) but I get the Brown Derby and Hollywood and Vine. But it says: Please note, party may be seated at more than one table. We are a party of 3 - 2 adults and a child. So breaking us up is not really an option. Really, how could you ever break up 3 people?

Should I go for it and hope for the best?

No need to worry, it's standard wording now. Other Disers have seen it on their reservations for a party of 1!

:lmao: I'd love to see how that party of 1 splits up :lmao:

I think it is fairly standard wording now, but am I the only one who would be upset about it? If I booked a reservation for X number of people, shouldn't it be set aside for that many? I can understand if you're reaching magical gathering numbers, but for smaller groups...eh, I don't know, maybe it's just me.:confused3

last christmas we were a party of 15 and we were seated at separate tables more than once. even though we were seated "together" at CRT, it was like we were separated. good luck:yay:

I guess I could have been clearer in my post. There's no worry because they almost never separate parties. Occasionally large parties have to be at two tables next to each other, but I've never heard of that happening to a party less than 7-8 (and only on very rare occasions for the larger party)

My vision of the split party of one had me laughing too hard, my apologies for the lack of clarity.

 It is funny...I just sort of got thinking in the worst case scenario, someone saying "well you did receive a disclaimer that your party could be seated separately," and then how my mother would react.:scared1: j/k j/k mom.

there is a legal term for this. it is highly technical: "CYA"

don't worry about it, have fun, enjoy your meal, and your trip!

I got this message on one of my ADRs as well. I am wondering how much harder they will work to seat us together if I tell them I will just send the kids to one table and the adults to another????:rotfl2:

Honestly, I haven't seen very many 2 person tables at Disney. When we went on our Honeymoon they most often sat us at a 4-top, even though there were only 2 of us.
I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I would not worry one bit about this. If it did happen, I would just tell them you will wait a bit longer to be seated together.

Now with larger parties, it does happen. I was with 7 at Sci Fi and we ended up in 3 cars almost as far apart as possible. and this was after waiting an hour and 15 past our ADR. We had hoped to be close together at least.

I love it:rotfl:

Yeah, I don't think my six year old would be too generous with the tip:rolleyes1
