I really don't think that Cindy and George helped Casey do away with Caylee. I truly believe that Caylee was there whole world

you misunderstood me, I don't think they helped her kill Caylee but I do think that they knew what Casey did and have been helping her get away with it. I totally think they should get jail time for that!

I do think they've known for awhile that Casey is guilty.

I agree. I think they found out for sure sometime between when Cindy first called the police and Casey was arrested. I think they (at least George) always had a stong suspicion and he started to 'help' Casey cover it up before Cindy did. I don't think Cindy was 'in on it' so to speak until after Casey had been in jail for a week or so.

Based on local coverage you could see a change in Cindy. She went from being a desperate grandmother to really angry at the media and police. I think that change happened when she learned the truth.

I agree that Cindy seemed to have changed overnight as soon as she realized that Casey was never coming back. Suddenly the news media that she had been courting night and day, suddenly became the enemy.

Casey now has until Tuesday to claim the limited immunity.

I think Cindy and George probably know now (and have for a little while) that Caylee is dead. I think now they're just trying to not lose their daughter, too.

Hard for me to say since my kids are still young, but I am thinking that if I had a strong reason to suspect that my daughter had KILLED my granddaughter (and put everyone through all this crap) jail would be the best place for her because she sure wouldn't want to be where I could get to her!

Channel 9 news just asked Jose Baez ( the lawyer) about the hair in the trunk being now identified as Caylees and that it was from a decomposing body. They were asking the lawyer to comment. Baez looks at the microphone and announces that "since Channel (pause) 9 has not respected my privacy, I am not going to talk to you" what a clown for a lawyer.

I agree that he is a clown. He is not savvy at all.

However, I really think that might be a good thing. It makes me hopeful that the truth will prevail over the PR bullcrap he is trying to pull off.

I don't mean to sound cold hearted, but I feel peace with what they found in the trunk. I mean, being realistic, we all knew deep down that Casey had done something horrible with that baby, at least now there is proof.
I know we wanted to be wrong, I wanted to be wrong, and have that baby girl be found alive, but it just wasn't going to happen. Casey is a sick pathalogic liar who deserves to be put onto the electric chair - at least now that they have the proof, it may happen.

This totally echoes my thoughts upon hearing the news today. I really had hope up until today that Caylee might be found alive.

Now, my hope has changed into hoping that this will be the final piece of evidence to put Casey away for a looooooooong, long time. And (IMHO) her parents. They have been covering up for her for waaaaaay too long and need to be held responsible too.

And on another note (and I still think the Padillas are idiots), at least LP admitted today that he was wrong. He has garnered some respect from me today for admitting that he no longer believes Casey. But, DUH!?!?!

I sooo wish they could revoke mom's bond and throw her back into jail. However, I don't think they can revoke her bond just on that alone. I think there has to be some flight risk involved.

I agree. I heard one of the taped phone calls from jail, between Casey and her mom. Cindy was just a sobbing mess, telling Casey that if anything happened to Caylee, she would just die. It was heart wrenching to hear her sobs, and she was desperately pleading with Casey to tell them where the baby was.

That wasn't Cindy..it was her friend Christina.

   :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

NG's show says the forensic proof is in that there was a dead body in Casey's trunk.

I feel like puking.

Me too. I suspect the "semi-truth" will come out that Caylee is gone, Casey will say the "babysitter" killed Caylee, hence her "I'm innocent" statement while walking out of jail. I hope she gets what she deserves.

I noticed this change too - Cindy went from being a shaky-voiced grandmother concerned about Caylee (on her 911 calls) to being a way-too-calm and defensive mother about Casey (while dealing with the media).

That huge change sends up red flags for me.

Wearing that shirt is gonna bite her in the bum when they make the forensic files of this case.

Makes her look really creepy.

What is the T shirt?
My news hasnt said a blasted thing about anything.
Yet every morning I have to hear that idiot Rockefeller guy tell his stupid lies on the Today show.

I am pretty sure that was Cindy - at least, that was the impression I got through the news. :confused3

Nope, it's not. I've listened to it a few times on NG. The same call Cindy gets on the phone, but that one sobbing saying she will die if anything happens to Caylee is not Cindy. Cindy gets on and says something about she wouldn't be in jail if she told the truth.

On Chanel 2 News tonight more will be said on the anthony case,The attorney is with casey and family at this time (setting up a plea bargain?) so the fan is waiting to be hit.

I did not realize there were 2 people on the same phone call.

It is kind of irritating to me that the news programs I have watched made it seem like Cindy was the one who said she would 'die if anything happens to Caylee.' That was one of the statements that gave me hope that Caylee meant more to grandma than Casey.

Thank you for posting that.

I apolgize for the misunderstanding

Yeah, I agree - she changed completely about the time her statements about the car went from "smelling like a dead body" to "no, it was a rotten pizza" - sometime in between I think she learned the truth and her coverup began :sad2:

See I don't think that's the case. I think she started seeing all the "evidence" pointing toward Casey possibly doing something wrong, all the media coverage bashing Casey and got defensive. As a mother, she probably didn't want to think her daughter would do something to harm Caylee so she was getting on the defense about it. I think she's in denial. Big time.

You may be right, but I would still like to think that her granddaughter would mean as much if not more than her daughter.

I have a sad feeling (and I hate myself for thinking this) that Cindy has already accepted that she will never see her grandbaby again and is doing everything she can to hold on tight to what is here, right now, which is her daughter :guilty: Including lying to cover up for her.
