Lots of open land and lakes around the airport too isn't there?

I dunno is there? I've been a zillion times and never pay attention! I wouldn't think she would dump a body near a busy place like that though. Who knows! I just wish they would release the results of the forensics so we know for sure if is Caylee's DNA in the trunk or someone else's.

I'd rather them build a SOLID case if they know what's going on. If they can find a body, great, if not I want their forensic stuff to be SPOT ON.

I'm ok with them taking their time if they know she's dead. But if she's alive, I wish they'd find her :(

I 'How could mom, Casey, afford a nanny if she had been unemployed for so long?' (and had to move in with her parents?) Is she really that good of a liar? What did the parents think that she did that she could afford a nanny?

I had heard early on during this "saga" that Casey had run up $40,000 in credit card debt on her moms CC.

I have not heard anything about that since.:confused3

I'm inclined to believe she sold drugs or was a mule like someone else said.

I just logged in, but I have 3 thoughts:

* I watched Nancy Grace tonight and heard all the questions, but I am a little miffed that they did not try to answer the one that peaked my interest: 'How could mom, Casey, afford a nanny if she had been unemployed for so long?' (and had to move in with her parents?) Is she really that good of a liar? What did the parents think that she did that she could afford a nanny?

Unfortunately, I am pretty sure I know the answer to this :guilty: - mom was such a good liar that she got away with it for a looooooooong time, until grandma Cindy finally called her on it and dialed 911.

* What do you make of the body language between grandpa and grandma? I think it is "off" somehow, but I cannot explain it. Does anybody have a theory?

* It is disturbing to me that the authorities are still searching. If they had solid evidence, they would not have to keep searching. What are they looking for? I understand that it is easier to prosecute someone if you have a body, but do they not feel that they have enough evidence already to go ahead and charge mom?

The police obviously don't have enough to guarantee a conviction. They need this case to be rock solid. No doubt - reasonable or otherwise.

Honestly, I know the public is dying to know what happened but the police need to do their jobs w/out the media reporting on every last detail.

When Casey saw herself on the news she stopped talking to visitors. Visitors who she might have given more info to since she has said she doesn't trust the police.

This is all very close to home to me. I saw George Anthony at Target the other day handing out flyers and saw Cindy there a few days after Casey was arrested doing the same thing. I will say that Cindy looked wrecked when I saw her. At that point I don't think she had a clue what was happening.

I do have to wonder if drugs were involved, especially since she was able to live off seemingly nothing.

However, if you could run up credit card bills to the amount of $40,000 and live off a boyfriend and your parents, it is not that unrealistic to think that she was just sponging off others.

That was interesting info about the pings at the Orlando Airport.

I do not believe Casey had anything to do with drug dealing. She had no money. That's why she had to steal gas and money from her mom and friend. I don't think she needed much of her own money prior to that, since she was living with her parents and Cindy provided much of Casey's and Caylee's needs. It wasn't until Caylee disappeared that Casey needed to steal money from Cindy's cc's and Amy's checkbook because she couldn't go home without Caylee and suddenly needed money to live for those weeks (and go on 40k shopping sprees).

I agree with who ever said the body language is off with Cindy and George. I cannot figure those two out. George's outburst by his garage seemed forced and almost staged. Today's outburst was probably genuine since they just came from seeing Casey, BUT, again, there was Cindy clawing her way to the press when George, once again, was physically pulling her away from them.

I can't even pretend to know what those two are going through. One day you are an unknown nurse making a living, the next day, your granddaughter is missing and you are the mother of one of the most despised women in America.

Here's the strangest thing... for one solid month, we never saw Cindy and George conducting any searches on their own. Now, after the round table meeting (where I believe police informed them that they are treating this like a homicide), George and Cindy are organizing searches and even searching on foot on their own.

Unless..... unless now that the police may have told them evidence suggests Caylee is dead, Cindy and George are searching for her body. I don't think it is good for them to keep insisting Caylee is alive. That can't be good for them. You can't help but feel bad for them, even if they are a little wacky. And who knows, there could have been a lot they were doing that we didn't see, but I remember Beth Holloway constantly searching for Natalee since day 1.

My fondest wish woud be for that baby to turn up. What a little sweetheart she was. How very sad.

Agreed.

When Casey saw herself on the news she stopped talking to visitors. Visitors who she might have given more info to since she has said she doesn't trust the police.

True enough, but I cannot help but think that she might have made some kind of deal to meet with her parents if the authorities agreed not to release the details to the media? Why would she all of a sudden agree to meet with her parents today?

Or they realize the police don't buy the "kidnapper" story and need to "find" Caylee's body. With this case it would not shock me at all if that were to happen.

You know, I find the "flurry" of calls Casey made on the 16th and 17th very interesting. She called her mother repeatedly, cell, work and home and also her father a couple times, probably looking for her mom.

I am in NO way sticking up for Casey believe me, but I am wondering if maybe something accidental did happen, Casey tried to contact her mom and couldn't and maybe she literally snapped? Maybe she really believes what she is saying now? Maybe she has convinced herself Caylee isn't dead and in her mind came up with this kidnapping story and believes it? Obviously Casey heavily depended on her mom, if the most awful thing in her life happened and she couldn't reach her mom?

I'm wondering if there is any reason known why Cindy and George didn't answer all those calls from Casey over the three day time period. That seems odd to me. Most families have cell phones so they can keep in touch.

There is alot of land and lakes around the Orlando airport - especially to the South and to the East - quite a bit of land to hide anything.

I believe it was on one of the Facebook post's that Casey left to one of her friends that she mentioned drama going on at home with her Mom so that may explain why her family wasn't answering her calls - they may have been angry with her. The Grandparents were also at work so they have just simply been busy and unable to answer their phones. Casey never did attempt to contact her brother though - I found that quite odd.

Yes, that is very strange. Great observation.

I think Cindy was going to file for custody of Caylee and that is what some of the Father's Day blow up may have been about (even though Cindy is denying any such blow up occurred). Remember the 911 call when Cindy turned to Casey and said something about trying the child custody thing? Now, even though Cindy taking custody of Caylee sounds like it's right up Casey's alley, that would also mean Casey might need to actually get a job to support herself and maybe even pay Cindy child support.

I guess I can't forget Cindy's July 3rd facebook entry, "Who is going to look after the little angel now?"

With all the phone calls over the 2 day period to her parents did they ever once return her call? I know they are denying it but with the neighbor stating there was a blowout fathers day weekend I don't think everything was happy go lucky as George has led us to believe the last time he saw Caylee. I think the parents were pissed at her for whateve reason and were ignoring her calls.

I don't think Casey did any of this on accident. I cant think of anyone else except scott peterson that behaves as badly as Casey. Utterly no remorse, sadness or truth coming out of her.

The news said all calls went unanswered. Odd, isn't it?

I totally agree with you. At some point, Casey did leave with a suitcase or duffle bag filled with belongings as at one point both items were mentioned as being filled with her clothes. George only mentioned the girls leaving with backpacks.

I think when Casey left on June 16, it was in a rage with belongings in tow. And if she and Casey only left with backpacks, that day, I think Casey returned to the house when Cindy and George were not home, to get her clothes. After all, Casey couldn't come home to live there again, now that she did away with Caylee. She needed a place to stay so her parents wouldn't ask about Caylee's whereabouts, and she needed her party clothes.

The grandparents are leaving a lot out of the story, I believe.

I don't know. Something tells me, with the cell phone evidence, they might be getting close to finding Caylee's body.

I know a lot of you love Nancy Grace, but something she said last night is a great example of why I can't stand her.

She work in the prosecutor/DA office for yrs correct? I was always under the assumption she worked criminal cases but something she said last night really threw me.

They were talking about the theory that Caylee's disappearance might have something to do with drugs. NG's response was.... Oh come on of course it had nothing to do with drugs. The girl stole gas. If she is stealing gas she doesn't have money for drugs.

I just rolled my eyes. Druggies often steal things because they have spent all their $$ on the drugs.

Just heard that Cindy is being questioned again. must have found a million holes in her story, ya think?

There really hasnt been any significant developments and I doubt there will be until Casey starts telling the truth. Unfortunately, that may never happen.
nancy grace and Greta Van Sustern's show are starting to repeat the same stuff every night.
I think that Caseys mother was controlling where Caylee was concerned, Casey didnt like it, moved out and failed to take care of her daughter-either an accident happened or she killed that little girl. Casey has mental issues-its clear to see that. George and Cindy and the brother have all failed this little girl by protecting Casey-thats where I find fault with them. I think the last honest thing that came out of Cindys mouth was when she said the car smelled like a dead body!
It is so far fetched to think this "babysitter" is off somewhere with this child. What happened to Cindys theory of the North Carolina mountains being where the baby was??? I didnt see her hopping a plane there either.

I was once friends with a girl that would not do a lick of work. Lazy to the bone. For YEARS, she did not work. Her family was fairly low income. Yet she always dressed nicely, managed to go out to eat, was partying in clubs, managed to have drinks in her hand at said clubs, was always made up nicely with her hair looking fine, etc. She was pretty and had a gift that defied description for getting people for pay for everything. Her clothes, her food, her entry fees, etc. I never knew her to have more than $5 in her hand at any given time....EVER. For years! Or she would bat her eyes and the club owner would let her in for free, etc. She lived with her parents and they paid all the household bills and anything like doctor bills, etc. Maybe Casey is one of those. Heaven knows she can talk a good game. :rolleyes1

And no, my friend never dealt drugs. She was just a Class A Mooch. :lmao:

The next door neighbor to the Anthony home said that there was a huge blowup at the Anthony household on Fathers Day. The yelling was so loud he could hear it inside his house.
He mentioned that Casey was known to have a violent temper and was quite often seen and heard by many of the neighbors yelling at her Mother especially.

My question is: if Casey somehow killed the baby at her parents house, how would they not notice something when they returned from work at the end of the day? The yard?
The police are wondering where she was for June 16,17 and 18th. Where were the Anthony's during this 3 day cycle?
And if Casey killed the little girl somewhere else, how likely would she be to return to the parents house and try to bury the child in the back yard?

OR, did she come to the parents house with the child in the trunk of the car, borrow the shovel to break into the shed and steal gasoline and then do something terrible to the body with the gas???

As far as the Orlando Airport, there is so much empty land surrounding this area. This is not going to be an easy area to search.

I just hope Casey didn't find a lake or pond and just toss the baby into it assuming the alligators would take the body and destroy any evidence.
