Just my two cents...........

I think the mom did something bad the the little girl ( I just can't type the words). When she came home & her mom found out what she had done, disposed of the body.

She seems to have no thought @ all really for the baby. Her focus right now is only to keep her daughter out of prison.

Two sick peas in a pod.

Really? You think that? Every interview I've heard she wants to find Caylee. She probably wants her daughter out of prison so she can drill the heck out of her to find out where her grandbaby is. After listening to the 911 tapes and the phone calls from jail, I don't think the grandmother had a thing to do with this.

Grandma seemed more concerned about the stolen car than the baby being missing. Very suspicious to me. Of course Grandma is going to act like she wants to find Caylee when she's interviewed on TV. Grandma also seems so calm when she's interviewed. I know my Mom would be hysterical, bawling, etc if any of my kids were missing for one day, let alone for 31 freakin' days. Yet Grandma is more concerned with how Casey and their family is being protrayed by the media. That would be the least of my worries.

I think Mom killed the kid last month, and cooked up the kidnapping story to maybe get away with it. Grandma either knows for a fact what happened, or strongly suspects that Mom is guilty, and now is trying to cover things up. Grandma is also maybe nervous that she could be implicated as well, if it comes out that she knew something was wrong all along.

Exactly.

Why even mention the car:confused3 YOUR GRANDCHILD IS MISSING!

Who cares about a "grand theft auto" or "stolen money". Call 911 and report that a child has been stolen:sad2:

The first call might not be as suspicious as it sounds from the transcript. Maybe Casey took Caylee and basically "ran away" or left the home a month ago, maybe her and her mother had a fight about something, maybe there's some on-going underlying family issues, who knows, she's been reported as an unstable girl so maybe this sort of thing isn't all that uncommon. So when Casey showed up at the house after "missing" (according to her parents) for over a month...her mother might have just assumed Caylee was being babysat by someone and not have been aware yet that she was missing and wanted to deal with her daughter who she said she had been looking for for a month and is now right there in front of her. Now 2 hours go by before you find out and call police again? The calm tone of voice in following calls? I don't think so. Highly suspicious. Would it take 2 hours for Casey to tell her mom "oh yeah, Caylee is missing" ? I don't think so. The details in this case are all very odd. I'm still hoping and praying Caylee is okay although my gut tells me otherwise.

When the first 911 call was made to report the grand theft auto and the stolen money, the grandmother didn't know that Caylee was missing. She knew her daughter had taken off for a month and she had just located her. She didn't know that her daughter didn't know where Caylee was. It was when her daughter told her that Caylee was missing that she made the second 911 call to report her granddaughter missing. If you listen to the tapes, she was very controlled during the first call. It was obvious that she was mad. During the second call, she has a frantic tone to her voice.

I have watched all the breaking news reports on this case. The Orlando area is just saturated in it. I truly believe the grandparents did not have a part in the disappearance of Caylee. If they are guilty of anything, it is in trying to protect their daughter by making excuses for things and wanting to believe that Caylee is alive and will be found. Is it very heartbreaking to watch.

I would love to know if the shovel was borrowed from the neighbor right before Casey took her mom's car and credit cards.
I think she killed her daughter, took the shovel and car and kept her in the car a long time and eventually dumped her daughters body Lord knows where.
She badly wants to talk to her boyfriend, hopefully the cops will be visiting him next.

I agree. I don't think the grandparents had anything to do with Caylee's disappearance, BUT I think they know where she is now/what happened to her. I think they are playing dumb and letting the police deal with finding her so they don't have to admit their daughter did something to her.

I completely agree with this. The grandmother comes across as a nut but not a murderer in my opinion. Her daughter? cold as ice...

This might be possible due to the conversation the mom and Casey had at the jail. Mom was asking about the little girl and Casey very sarcastic said, something like, "and you really don't know my involvement in stuff". I can't remember the exact words but it makes me wonder if Casey did tell her mom she killed her. or Casey just might be saying I told you over and over she was kidnapped. Not real sure.

My thoughts exactly.

I have been following this thread+finding out what i can on the internet about this poor little girl,as we don't have much coverage if any, over here.I can't seem to find any updated news-would be grateful for some links-if there is any updates-thank you.

I don't agree(normally) with judging someone until there is proof/evidence of this. But i do believe and agree with most if not all of you on here that, that Mum(can you even call her that??)has something to do with her missing daughter.I believe she has sold her or done something alot worse to her-God forbid.None of this really adds up.As for the Grandmother-i don't know what to believe about her,at first i thought 'no' she has nothing to do with this or does'nt know anything, but now i am not so sure. One statement that she made sticks in my mind, the one where she said about the trunk/car smelling of a dead/decomposed body-a foul odour.I have never ever smelt a 'dead body' and hope never to,so i sure as heck would'nt have a clue what one smelt like.To me this is a very weird statement to make-of all the things she could have said it smelt like-she says a 'dead body' :confused3 ,and is now saying she does'nt remember saying this.
I have also just listened to the phone conversation that Casey made to her Mum,Brother+friend-very weird-nothing 'adds up'.
I hope+pray that Caylee is safe, but unfortunatley it does'nt seem to be looking very good-i hope i am wrong.x.

I wonder if they have checked the Pings from her cell phone from that time period she went missing to see if she traveled to any remote areas, etc. to possibly dump a body.

A very sad story, my heart goes out to the little girl. All the way through things dont add up. Being a young single mum is a very poor excuse. If she did have to leave her daughter in the first instance who did she leave her with? What do they say? No mother simply doesnt leave their child for that long without some sort of contact, If ever I had to leave my children I would be phoning every day and talking to them and their carer. What has the grandmother to gain from all this, its her grandaughter thats missing she should be doing all she can to find evidence not cover up for her daughter, If she is innocent (which I dont believe she is) all that mess can be sorted out once the little girl is found.

Nothing adds up here and I have a very bad feeling about this, the whole family needs the book throwing at them.

I don't know if this is 'new' news,it's the first i have heard this, but i have just found this---(i don't know how to post links-so have copied it for you all)this is referring to the 2nd call made by Cindy...

While a dispatcher was transferring Cindy Anthony to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a snippet of the mother and daughter's conversation was captured.

Cindy Anthony: 'Cause my next thing will be down to child (inaudible) thing and we'll have a court order to get her. If that's the way you want to play, we'll do it and you'll never. . .

Casey Anthony: That's not the way I want to play. . .

Cindy Anthony: Well then you have. . .

Casey Anthony: Give me one more day.

Cindy Anthony: No, I'm not giving you another day, I've given you a month. . .

The conversation, and the recording ended when an Orange County Sheriff's Office dispatcher picks up the line.

Cindy Anthony and her husband George visited Casey in Orange County Jail, where she is being held on more than $500,000 bail. After the visit, George Anthony, in good spirits, said the couple would be speaking publicly soon. Asked by reporters if they had good news, he said, "Oh yeah."

He also said Caylee is alive.
--------------------------------------------------

So if that conversation is true-then the Grandmother knew all along that Caylee was missing.x.

It seems that way. The grandmother said "No, I'm not giving you another day, I've given you a month. . ..

But--OH! I hope she is alive:cheer2: Maybe the "mother" just told them where she could be found:goodvibes

Unbelievable... I am a young mom and I wouldn't leave my DD with anyone besides mine or DH's parents... I am so paranoid that I still wake up in the middle of the night to check if she is breathing (and she is 9 :lmao: )

So... I have no sympathy at all for this chick... she is 22 for god sakes... I was married at 22 and had a 6 yearold already..

What a witch:mad: An evil, evil witch. Spoiled scumbag. She does not care about her daughter one bit. Not one bit.

http://www.wftv.com/video/16991942/index.html

"They just want Cally back. That's all they want"--That is what this "mother" says in an annoyed voice:eek:

It seems like she will answer to her brother. I like his attitude. Perhaps the police should have him talk to her.

Who is Tony? She is more concerned about tracking him down than her daughter.

The mother of the girl is obviously mentally ill...I just hope whoever she gave or sold that child to isn't as evil as she is!:sad2:
