:cool1: Faith does food!!!!

(I like coral reef, le cellier, would love france-i'm sure, don't want bad mexican food-have had to much real stuff!)

So-Friday is Christmas party----i hope i can do one with the family, too!! Imagine, two MVMCP in one trip!!

Saturday is Epcot.

Sunday before everyone leaves? Character Breakfast so we can be silly??

Character breakfast is a great idea. I've never done one. Add that to Michelle never seeing Illuminations and we're already coming up with some great stuff here.

ok, another picky one here. pakey, is japan very nutty? i am strongly opposed to introducing you all to my nut allergy....I do feel my safest at WDW, seriously, but open nuts might be an issue.

sorry to be a downer...

Not a downer at all! I just don't like "fancy" foods. I would be happy with Coral Reef. YUM! We'll eat wherever you can meet us! Churros for everyone!:rotfl:

Um,with this group I'm pretty sure we're gonna be silly the whole time! I love character meals! It would have to be either at a resort or whatever park we're staying for the day since some of us won't be hopping.

Great ideas girls! This is going to be great! I haven't been to any of the restaurants in Epcot that you are talking about and they all sound yummy!
Character meal would be fun on Sunday morning! You've never done a character meal Pakey?? :sad2:

Character meal options for breakfast on Sunday morning:
-Cape May Cafe @ Beach Club: Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale
-Chef Mickeys: Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie
-1900 Park Fair @ Grand Floridian: Supercalifragilistic breakfast with possible characters like Mary Poppins, Alice and Mad Hatter
-O'Hana breakfast @ Poly: Lilo and Stitch, Mickey, Pluto
-Tusker House @ AK: Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Mickey
-Crystal Palace @Mk: Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet

*There are a few more that probably wouldn't work. Royal Table or Askerhaus

Thanks Monica! The only one of these I've done is Chef Mickeys (which I love) but it may be nice to try something new. What about O'Hana? Isn't that where the Tonga Toast is that everyone raves about? Cape May Cafe sounds good too - at least the pictures I've seen of the characters in costume are cute! Who am I kidding - they all sound good!

Tonga toast is at Kona.

The only problem with a park is that some people seem to be leaving early on Sunday and may not be going to a park with us. Cape May might be nice because I think that's where Kari is staying. Right? However, Chef Mickey's had a good selection of characters. We'll make Faith decide!

Good point about the parks. If we do a resort or boardwalk restaurant everyone can do whatever they want to afterwards.
Yeah - let Faith decide!

By the way, I looked at the menu for Beaches & Cream and it looks yummy!

Hi guys! :goodvibes

As far as Epcot, I would love the Coral Reef or pretty much anywhere in the WS other than Mexican or German. Italian, French, Japanese, Le Cellier - they all sound fantastic to me! Of couse funnel cakes all around, baby!

And the character breakfast, I would love to try O'hana - I've never even been to the Poly and I've always wanted to try O'hana! I've done CM and CP, but would gladly do those if that is what everyone wanted. Cape May and Tusker House are good I hear too!

No princess dining, huh? :rotfl2: They might like our shirt! ;) Nah - not as much fun as Mickey! That Mad Hatter one (where is that, 1900 Park Faire?) would probably be a hoot with this bunch! :lmao:

I'm guessing AK is the park of choice for Sunday? Sounds fine to me! :thumbsup2 I do ride more things at AK than DHS, but I will miss seeing those Christmas lights at DHS! :santa:

:woohoo:

 When I first read that I didn't see the period after German and thought, man - she doesn't like anything!:lmao:

:rotfl: I thought the same thing! I thought, "What's left?!":rotfl:

Well if you, Kimmy and Missa are staying into the night on Sunday then you guys can pick. I'm just happy to be with you guys! Poly breakfast sounds good to me. I love Stitch!

Sara, you'll have to post the pic of our shirts we're gonna make!

Kimmy needs to get home so she can help us plan!

That's funny Michelle! Yeah, look out popcorn wagon and McDonald's outpost - here I come! I live on the wild side of life!

We did Ohana this time....food was good, our service was bad. And, we only saw Mickey and we were there for over an hour. It's served family style, and we never got "refills". But...I'd go again with you all (we won't do family again, tho). Plus, there is a photo dude there to take pics and sell them. We could memorialize our meal!

We've done Chef Mickey's too, love it.
We've done Princesses for dinner only.

I'd be more likely to go to a resort then a park....especially with whole family going with me. (thank god my mom and dad are going....what would adam do??? i really need to get back to my trip report, then you all would know what i'm talking about....well, tina knows. she hears it all. )

I'm here! Tired as can be after a long EPCOT day, but I'm here!!

Hey ya'll!

Wow, ya'll are some plannin' chicks. We were probably going to do Chef Mickey's on Sun anyway, so I'll put in my vote for that.;) That way I can just sneak away from the table for a while and hang out with ya'll. But, I'm like everyone else, and would love whatever sounds good to the most people. We're staying in a studio at VWL on Sat night and moving to our 2 brm at VWL on Sun morning. My parents won't arrive until sometime Sun.

My proposal? Let me tell you how romantic it was. Did it include a diver at Coral Reef? No. Was it down on one knee in front of Cinderella's castle during the fireworks? Nol Was it during a romantic stroll around World Showcase? No.

We checked into our room at CSR and got freshened up to go to MK. As we were about to leave out, Darin sat down all of a sudden, reached in his pocket, pulled out a ring box, and said.......(hold on, this is the really sweet part, I'll wait while you go grab a tissue:sad: )....................................................................."Here, take this thing it's poking me in the leg."

Of course, I'm thinking "WHAT?? Is that supposed to be a proposal?" :rotfl: Then he asked me to be his wife and all that other jazz. Of course, I said yes, we both cried, and we went off to the MK just like in the fairy tales. Not exactly on one knee in front of the castle like I always imagined, but still pretty cool. At least we were at WDW. He told me later that he wanted to do it at the MK but he was afraid the ring would fall out of his pocket on the way there. And besides, it really was poking him in the leg. And thus began our lives as a Disney family. We love eachother and we love Disney.:grouphug: Him probably not as much as me on the Disney part, but almost, and he supports me. (Except when I wanted to name our DD Minnie.) We even got married on Walt's birthday. Total coincidence. Really.

We considered getting married at WDW, but knew lots of the people who would want to attend, wouldn't be able to afford the trip. Looking back, we would have been fine without them.;)

Okay ladies, carry on.

Awwww, that is so sweet! :lovestruc
And so friggin hilarious! :lmao: :rotfl2: Is that a ring in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? :confused3

Oooo, a Disney wedding! Wouldn't that be fabulous? Maybe we can start planning for a DIS girls joint vow renewal ceremony at Disney, say 2020? :confused3 That would be 24 years of wedded bliss for us! :scared1:
I better start dieting now then maybe I could fit back in my gown! :sad2:

Sara

Love your story Molly! Very funny and sweet all at once!
He sounds like a keeper! :)

Vow renewal in 2020 sounds like a great idea - that would be 25 years for us! :scared1:

Okay, here is my formal introduction. My name is Kimmy, I'm from Cleveland Ohio, I'm a single kinda gal (sorta LONG STORY) I LOVE Disney (duh!) I will be traveling with my best friend, Missa aka Missamouse, who is also a HUGE Disney fan. I just turned 30 (just doesn't sound right) and have been to Disney almost 30 times.
I'm actually on vacation right now(should still be sleeping I KNOW!) staying right outside of Disney. I don't want to bore you with listing out all my trips (not that I could remember them all anyway) but I can tell you the obsession began when I was 5 and has not slowed down. I have stayed at almost all the resorts except for some of the Really good ones :rotfl2: but of course it's on my list of things to do....

Okay, I want to chime in on a few things. We will be coming in on Thursday Dec 4 and staying till Monday Dec 8 (I think those are the right dates??) We will be staying at the Pop, I think I will make my reservation today. Friday @ MVMCP sounds GREAT! Sat @ EPCOT also is good, food~ anything is good for us. I would love to try Japan, but not at the risk of Kari's allergy. Sunday, the only req I would like to throw out there, is NO Chef Mick's!! I really dislike that place A LOT! The rest of the list, would be fine. I love Ohana's and I really wanna try 1900, but seriously anything else on that list would be good.

Missa took a very special picture for you all yesterday, I will share it when I am home to download it on to my desktop. Right now she is playing the part of Snoring Beauty in the bed next to me.

I am the only one up! Even my 70 year old aunt and 60 year old mom are sleeping!! WTH??

Wow, Molly! How sweet! Sometime when I'm typing 2-handed ;) , I'll tell you about my 10th anniversary ring, given at Disney. Kaitlyn is planning on a Disney wedding....I let her watch the Travel Channel special. I kept a tab of her dream list.....$75,000. We are now starting a wedding fund :lmao: ....Actually, that's not a joke. In addition to college funds, I told Adam we should, and that all 3 will get some...to use for wedding, honeymoon, downpayment on a house, whatever....And, Disney gave me the idea! Lovin' the magic!
