My boyfriend saw an adverstisement that said two adults and two children could go to DW for 1400 with MEALS. Is this true? What company is it with?

Thanks guys, everyone has helped with other trips to Disney so much I knew to come right here!

Must be the Free Dining promotion. It's open to the general public now. The thing is, you have to go during late August - late September, and because the Free Dining plan is open to anybody, you may have trouble booking the table service meals you want.

Yes, yes, it's true... here's the link to the Dis info page on the current offer:

Combine free dining with a week at a value ($609 for 7 nights during Value season) and 7 day park tickets (2 adults @ $233.24 and 2 kids @ $193.87) and I get a total of $1036.11.

Add in taxes and they're right.

We are going in September and Northwest has some great deals on airfare out of Detroit. Just booked airfare roundtrip in September for $120.00 total canadian direct flight. Just go to the Northwest airlines website ( nwa.com) and choose Canada as the country at the very top of the page. Then choose your search. These flights are great. We have used them the last two years and you can check out directly from the hotel.

Hope you can go to Disney. It is really worth it and with the free dining you don;t have to worry about paying for all that food.

I agree it's probably the free dining.

We're going seven nights, middle of September to Pop for something around $800USD. This doesn't include park admission (we have APs) nor air fare, although we're booked on Southwest and I want to say it'll cost $300 round trip, but it's in that general area.

$1,400USD doesn't seem to be too far out of the ball park.

Jim.

Edited to add:

Forgot to mention that if it *is* a free dining period, you'd better not spend three-four weeks deciding. Table dining fills up pretty quickly for the free dining times. Our TA (Kathy at Dreams Unlimited) said a while ago that a few spots were already 100% filled when she was doing our ADRs.
