please help!

We have just booked to go to DLP at christmas but I have a couple of queries. We had no problems booking the holiday but we are struggling to book a meal for christmas day. We have booked with Cresta and different people are telling us different things - so far we have had "should be able to book now don't know why its not on the system", "meals can only be booked 6 weeks before you travel", "xmas meals can be booked from September onwards"???? We are getting really confused. I rang disney and the lady I spoke to there told me the prices etc. had been released and she didn't understand why they weren't letting me book??

Has anyone else managed to book or have you got any advice?

My second query relates to shopping - we are staying in Davy Crockett and are planning to partially self cater - does anyone know when the big supermarket is open over the xmas period (22nd - 27th Dec)?

Can't help with any of your questions I'm afraid, but just wanted to say you will have a wonderful time at Christmas!

Did you have a particular Christmas meal/restaurant in mind for Christmas Day? The reason I ask is that not all the restaurants inflate their prices at Christmas, we ate our Christmas Day lunch at the Lucky Nugget last year and although it was only the usual character buffet we had a fabulous time and it was still at the usual price.

No help here either I am afraid. I am very envious - we were hoping to go Christmas 2007 but since Cresta/Bridge have pulled out of the Tesco deals scheme, that looks unlikely.

We did book with them this year and the customer service was often absolutely appalling (lose count of the number of times they hung up on me!). I hope you get some answers soon.

I have used my Tesco deals too. And although we had no problems booking the holiday we are having real problems with the meal - we have also been hung up on, and told "no I can't transfer you to a supervisor - I am a homeworker and can't transfer you to anyone" - she basically told us to hang up and try again! It is very frustrating

I am sure that the Auchan will be open. If you PM me nearer the date I will check their opening hours for you but they are not up now.

One thing to note is French places allways seem to close on Sundays.

However when it get close to christmas I've noticed the ones in Calais open Sundays.
