I am thinking about purchasing a 150 pt SSR contract through Disney. I spoke with a guide and he is sending me some information to review. He did give me some basic info ( nothing I didn't already know from you all ) but the downpayment part has me confused. He stated the 150 pts is 14,700 and if I did Disney financing the downpayment would be $2940.00. I can't figure out where that amount is coming from..anyone??

They should give you $1200 which will bring your downpayment down.

The current incentive will reduce the downpayment by $8 per point - or $1200 for the 150 point contract. You may not have to come up with as much as you think!

You should only have to give them $1740 if you did the 20%. Or you can give them the $2940 and reduce the principle.

You can get an SSR resale for around $80.

Thanks everyone ! He did tell me about the 1200.00 but I didn't realize that could be taken from the downpayment.
