Hi,
We are renting points (for the second time...yea!) and have a confirmed reservation for the BCV Feb 3-10. Can anyone advise which room we could request at check in? I have checked the room reports, but was wondering if anyone had suggestions. I will be traveling with 3 small children...who might like to see the fireworks at Epcot (from the comfort of our room)...
Also should we try and get a "dedicated" 2 bdrm or a "lock off"? What would be the advantages/disadvantages?
Is there a way to request a particular room before arrival?
Thanks for your help!

BCV has three different 2 bedroom room types that are actually a reservation not a request. They are are lock-off, dedicated and dedicated with 2 queens. So you already have one of these room types, no need to request. If you look at the confirmation you will see some sort of room label. ( I don't remember the exact wording).

If you want to look at room views go to Diszip's website...

and have a great trip! BCV is great!

You won't have much luck requesting a particular room. But you can call MS and give them 2 or 3 general preferences that they will try to fill (no guarantees). We ask for non-smoking, non-handicapped, quiet location and usually get all 3.

Hi,

Member Services will no longer take calls from non-members. So in order to put requests on your reservation you will need to contact the member you rented from and have them call for you. You may want to decide if there is anything else you may need them to do at the same time (ME, DDP).

The general advice is not to request specific rooms since they may not be advailable, but more general location in the order of importance.

I agree, with little ones it is very nice watching the fireworks in your jammies before bed. I'm not sure if MS will take an 'Epcot view' request anymore, but you can try. You could say 'woods view' and 'upper floor'. Don't forget non-smoking (or smoking).
