We Are Trying To Plan Our Next Trip. We Are Taking Our 3 & 4 Yr. Olds. They May Be 4 & 5 Depending On When We Decide To Go. We Have Never Stayed At A Value Before. Can Everyone Please Give Me Their Opinions On Which Value To Choose. Also When In Aug & Sept. Is Free Dining Usually Offered. Can't Decide To Try For Free Dining And Suffer With The Heat Or No Free Dining And Go In Nov. Thanks

Hi-I've never stayed at a value, but read so many good things about POP. My 5 year old boys and I are staying there in May. A big selling point for me is that fact that they don't share a bus with other resorts, and I have read that all the buildings are within an easy 4-5 minutes of the food court and bus stops.
We have gone a few times in November, early in the month and the week after Thanksgiving, and had good luck with crowds and weather all visits.
We hit Pop Warner activity at the end of our last trip, but we left a few days into it-so it wasn't too bad. I would avoid values during PW week!!!

We stayed at POP right after it opened and have been back atleast 10 times since then. We love it. Everything is so exagerated and that makes it lots of fun for little kids. The huge foosball table, the really big Big Wheel, among all the other super big decorations makes it really fun for kids.

We stayed at our first AS resort in December. We chose AS Music. I was so impressed!!! It had just been renovated, but that wasn't all that made it wonderful. It also had the dramatic decorations that we love at POP but just a different variety DS17 and DD16 had a blast getting their pictures made in all the different sections. We are definitely going back again, but we won't give up POP for good!! We've stayed at most of the resorts at WDW but the best ones for children are the values.

All star movies is great for small children. Everything is recognizable, such as Woody and Buzz, the dalmations, Mickey, etc. They love it!

Thank you so much for your quick replies. When is PW week? Has anyone been during free dining? How are the crowds & heat? Also which week in Nov. do you feel is least crowded? Sorry for all the questions but my sister-in-law has never been and she wants to also take her 3yr. old. I was trying to find the least crowded and most inexpensive way to take her because she does not have alot of funds.

Stayed at ASMovies in 2005 and POP in 2007. Both good for kids. POP is larger and food court busier. AS all share buses. At night lines for buses are very long so leave before closing or wait around and take your time. The rides are long if you end up standing. Kiddie pools and palygrounds are great. We got popcorn in bucket At MK and used it at hotel and gave to another famu\ily before we left on plane. We bnrought swimmy from dollar store and then left them too.

My boys love Sports. We stayed at Sports the first time we stayed on property. DS has asked every trip since then to stay at Sports.

Our boys (6) absolutely LOVED POP when we went last July. They've asked to stay there again this summer!

We stayed at ASMovies when they were 3. It was fun, and it was great for our first family trip. But overall we like POP much better.

If BC is an option - that was our absolute favorite! SAB is just amazing - the sandy pool was great!

Kristie :)

We have the same name lol. Even spelled the same way. We stayed at the BC last May and loved it. I was looking at pics of the values and thought that at their age they might like one of those better. BC really (except for the pool) doesn't haven't a disney theme that I thought they might enjoy at this age.

You are right. I thing the designing of the values are more geared toward children and that's usually what I recommend to my friends with children (Actually, yesterday). Being the kid that I am, I love those too!!!

BC is awesome too, but just not in the same way. Don't get me wrong... I love BC and it's convenience, but the values are just fun!!!

We've stayed at all of the values and like Pop the best. It's actually our only repeat resort.
