We are going June 4-5 with 2 day, 1 park tickets. Grad night is Tues, June 5. Would you do California Adventure on the 4th to avoid grad night or is it more inportant to avoid magic morning at Disneyland? Grad night and magic morning are both on Tuesday, June 5th, so if we do California Adventure Monday to avoid grad night there, we will be dealing with magic morning crowds in Fantasyland by the time we can get in on Tuesday.

I’d go for park hoppers, to be honest. Which doesn’t really answer your question-but I think being able to move to avoid crowds would be extra important in your scenario.

I have never experienced a terribly packed magic morning, so I would think you are okay, unless you want to RD Peter Pan.

I wouldn’t worry about MM, just plan to start on the adventure land side of the park and do tomorrow land and fantasy land in the afternoon

I would recommend going on the 4th. The 5th will be crowded, and they'll close off one of the parks early making the other park more crowded.

I would avoid grad night as much as possible. Posit: I was offered a chance to go with my wife who is chaperoning students from her school this year and have decided to stay home and paint the spare bedroom instead. It's not the crowds it's a bunch of kids yelling "*****" or "I farted" on The Haunted Mansion and other dark rides that really get to me.

I experienced the rowdy-ness of the kids yesterday and I was only there from 10am to 6:15pm.

The Grads do increase the volume of noise on rides.
CM's on GOTG seemed to attempt to put Non-Grads in together for the ride.
Both parks were pretty packed yesterday.

if you are using maxpass, then on Tuesday, MM is no problem. A recent trip report demonstrated that paper fastpass is also very reliable for multiple attractions. You will still have a empty Rivers of Ameriac area at rope drop that you can visit, then when done with ROA, start fast pass collection in Tomorrowland, then while waiting, ride fantasyland. have a plan for your last ride of the night. though DCA has two fun night events, Disneyland is more comforting at night and has its two night time events.

I agree with pp....I'd upgrade to park hoppers! That will give you flexibility which will be very important. when it's crowded in one park you can hop over to the other; and when one park closes early, you can hop to the other..... yes, go with park hoppers!
