Please Help..Need Ressie for Pirate Cruise..they lost mine!

Hi all Diser's out there, I am hoping someone can help me!! We booked all our PS's (were PS's when I did them, now ADR's) exactly at the 90 day mark, even woke up every day to make daily ressies. We made ressie's for kids clubs and pirate cruise for my DS's 4 & 8 at the same time.

Today, when I went to change 1 ressie, I double checked all my others. Low and behold, they do not have my ressie for the pirate cruise that I scheduled over a month ago. No big deal right, just make a new ressie. WRONG!! They are completely booked during our entire 10 day trip! I am beside myself and looking for help!!

If any of you have a pirate cruise ressie that you are not planning on using ANYTIME between 10/4-10/13 would you PLEASE let me know so I can book it??? My son's don't know the bad news yet and I am doing whatever I can to try to get it back. They have saved for this cruise for nearly 3 months and are really looking forward to it.

Please help if you can, or any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!! :wave2:
 
DIdn't you have to place a deposit for the Pirate Cruise? If so they should be able to do something or compensate you in some way.
 
Did you write down your reservation number? If so they should be able to look it up that way. I know our DS did the cruise last year, and when I booked it they gave us a resv. number. Other than that, hopefully if someone isn't going perhaps they could let you know. I think that your chances of getting in though, would still be slim, since the person would have to call and cancel....... then I'd think the next person on the waiting list would get it. Sorry to be so glim......... but, I'd still keep trying to call, you never know, you may luck out and get in. I hope so, I know your little one would love it.

** Just saw the op post....... we had to pay a deposit as well, that's when I got the reservation number. I'd keep calling back........ perhaps the cm you spoke to didn't really know what they were doing????
 
Did you check all the locations that it goes from? If so then I would call starting 5 days before your trip and every morning of your trip.
 

Do you have the ressie no. that they gave you when you called? If so call back and give them that number and they should be able to tell you what happened to them. It could be as simple as a keystroke mistake.
 
This is why I don't check reservations - I show up with my confirmation number and let them figure out what went wrong.

I have had this happen twice at 1900 Park Fare and they have taken care of it - they can back track with the number and find out what happened...I made the reservation - its their problem not mine.

And especially in the case of the Pirate Cruise where you have made a deposit.

Just go with your confirmation number.

I did have the number but cannot find it!! I did have to reserve it with a credit card but they don't charge it so I can't track it that way.

I could just kick my DH for losing my ressie sheet, but it might have been me :flower:

I will keep checking and hopefully get a little pixie dust. thanks for all the replies

I would continue to call. I know if you don't show up, your cc WILL be charged a fee. I would think if nothing else they can look up your name and cc number and find it that way. I'd keep calling back until I got someone who could find it.

They should be able to track you by name, phone number if you don't have your ressie number.
 
I would call back and explain your situation and see if the CM will do some work to track down what happened. A few years ago I made reservations for CRT and when I called to verify there was no sign of my reservation. I did have my confirmation number and they said that the reservation was there it was just under the wrong phone number. Hopefully something like that happened with your reservation and they will be able to track it down for you. Sending some pixie dust your way!!
 
We did the pirate cruise this summer. When we booked I was told that it was limited to 20 children, but there were 22 on the cruise. My husband and I were guessing that they have a few spots for concierge and situations like this.

No flaming.... I am only telling you this to give you hope. When we went in July I booked two cruises because I wasn't sure which one we would be using. We ended up going on Monday and I immediately cancelled the one for Friday. Hopefully someone else has done this while you are there.
 
Did they try and look it up with your phone number ? Could someone have misspelled your last name ? You should call and ask to speak to a supervisor and just explain what happened. maybe if they look harder they can find it !!

I called to check all my ADRs a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't have one of the dining ones. Not a big deal really, but the CM looked at the date and time it was supposed to be on, and it turned out that they had typed in my phone number with one number wrong. Maybe you could call back and see if they have your name down on the day you booked, with the phone number wrong, like mine was. Good luck! :)
 
Great advice, thanks so much!! I will keep at it......if anyone is cancelling a ressie, please let me know. I'm not giving up yet, you are all encouraging. I will call tomorrow and check dates and names...fingers crossed and pixie dust never hurt ;)

You know I would bet that reservation is there -- just go - I say that because last night I called to pay deposits on two reservations I just made about a week ago and it took the gal FOREVER to find them...my portfolio is so large...she was bringing up trips and ressies from forever ago. And then if there is a slight deviation in name or phone number or whatever that just files it elsewhere also.
