My DD15 and I are going to Disney for Spring Break...just the two of us (mom/daughter trip).

So far we are eating at Le'Cellier, 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace for dinner and O'hana's for breakfast. We need one more table service meal (on dining plan), preferably dinner.

We are somewhat picky eaters...the day we don't have dinner planned we will be in MGM/Hollywood Studios. The restaurant selection doesn't seem to be great there...we have eaten at 50's Prime Time 3 times now and are looking for something different.

Any suggestions? We don't mind traveling to another park or a resort.

Thanks!
Jes

at the studios......they have a buffet at Hollywood and Vine for dinner and its not to bad.......or Mama Melrose.....that is mostly italian....
Or take the boat from MGM and go to Epcot and eat there......there are alot of good ts restaurants there......better hurry up too......Spring break is usually a busy time there....

I would say Kona at the Poly or one of Epcot's WS restaurants - take your pick, they are all wonderful!

also, you can also take the ferry from MGM to boardwalk or yacht/beach club to eat :thumbsup2

I'm sure that this will not be the most popular response, but if it were me I would trade in that 'Ohana breakfast and the undecided extra credit for a Hoop Dee Doo, which requires 2 TS credits per person. Gratuity is included there, as well.
Otherwise, I would suggest perhaps the Cape May Clambake for a 1 TS credit. It's at the Beach Club, and easy enough to get to from MGM.

If taking the boat to Epcot is an option I'd recommend Coral Reef. Should be cool enough for a 14yr old and we had a wonderful meal there!

We ate at Hollywood and Vine and the buffet was fine, not special, but fine. We took advantage of the Fantasmic package and if you're planning to see the show that day I would give it a thumbs up for the package. My theory is you can always find something on a buffet that suits you!

Mama Melrose is really good!! Other than that I'd like to suggest San Angel Inn or Coral Reef at EPCOT

I second Cape May for the Clambake. My DD15 and DS13 love it. :) Not gourmet or anything, but they just like the food.
