please help! meals for ak day!

Hi everyone!

My family and I have a trip booked for December (4 adults). I am so confused on what meals to book on our Animal Kingdom day. We are on deluxe dining so I have 3 credits to use that day. I was thinking a breakfast or lunch for 1 credit and a signature dinner/dinner show for 2 credits. We usually leave AK early so the location for dinner doesn't really matter. Any recommendations?

I have no idea about breakfast~ a lot of folks seem to like the tusker House buffet...
But for dinner, you should try Jiko
This was my DH's favorite dinner from our last trip
It's a short bus ride from AK to AKL and Jiko is at Jambo House.
We have a 5:30 ADR and left AK early and spent a little time exploring the resort.

Now that we've learned that you can eat at the Jiko bar without a reservation and order anything on the menu, DH is pushing to do just that...
but we are on basic dining and it would be OOP...

We have Dxddp too. On our AK day, we are eating at Tusker House breakfast at 8:05 and a late lunch at Yak and Yeti. Dinner at resort Yatchman's Steakhouse

In the park, Our fav is Tusker House if you want breakfast, Flame Tree BBQ for lunch (we tried Yak & Yeti last year and didn't really like it that much... obviously we are in the minority though)

As far as dinner, would agree about Jiko and definitely a big thumbs up to Yachtsman for a signature dinner. Or maybe Flying Fish on the Boardwalk.

So many great places to go!

I don't know which signature but I love Ohana & usually put it on either a MK or AK day.

I think I'm going to go with Jiko for dinner. I can't decide between Yak and Yeti and Tusker House for lunch. Any recommendations?

This is what I would do. I would do Yak & Yeti for lunch and Jiko for dinner. You get the most for your money and both places are really good. Jiko is amazing!

Mmmm... now I'm hungry! This would be my vote. We ate at Yak & Yeti for the first time on our last trip and loved it - planning to book lunch for our next trip. Jiko was well worth the trek for a terrific dinner.
