We have a trip planned in August which we already rescheduled from July due to Free Dining. We can't reschedule now because since we changed it to August and had a free summer we put a bid in on a house and just found out yesterday that it was accepted and we simply can not afford to do that (financially or time-wise) plus a trip all in one small time frame.
We just found out today that step-DS most likely (99% sure) can't go with us during the week that we picked now
~ of course there is the 1% chance that he will be able to so we don't want to just drop him off of our reservations.
But, here is the problem ~ I think I remember reading on this board somewhere that the resorts check each person against the reservation at check-in to be sure you haven't added on an extra person for the DP. I am sincerely not trying to do anything like that but we would feel horrible if we take him off the ressies and then find out the week before we go that he can go after all.
My head is spinning right now from trying to come up with a good solution here, and I know this is a lot of info to decipher, but if anyone has any input I would be most grateful!
