I am looking at the following restraunts for Epcot:
Akershus
Biergarten
Le Cellier Steakhouse
L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristoranti
Rose & Crown Pub
San Angel Inn
Does anyone have a favorite or another suggestion? My kids are picky so they need to have something that is not too weird.

le cellier is great! i don't there is anything weird on the menu. and we do like alfredo's! i think either would be a good choice. happy eating! :earboy2:

out of those choices, i would probably go with le cellier - it's soooo good and lots of great choices for kids. i would stay away from akershus - fish, fish, and more fish. biergarten is lots of fun and great if you love meat, awful if you don't. alfredo's is probably good for kids too but i hear it's basically your average italian restaurant. rose & crown might be ok too, but my recommendation would be le cellier. happy eating! :teeth:

You have the exact same question that I was just going to post. I love good food, but have picky kids as well. I am leaning towards Le Cellier, but it doesn't sound as kid-friendly and fun as Biergarten. San Angel is beautiful by the way. Your kids would probably love it if they will eat Mexican food. It's the only one on your list that I've been to.

Le Cellier, and my kids haven't had too much sit down restaurant experience, and they liked it. Though with my kids, its all about the food! LOL

They even had a kid's steak, grilled chicken, and I think a burger, maybe ckn nuggets as well. Very yummy!

Biergarten was great, it is a buffet with the regular little kids buffet choices, but then they had lots of different breads, like pretzel bread, that let the kids be "adventurous" too :) The entertainment is great, kinda cheesy but fun, with different acts, like water glass music, the different instruments, like those long horns (you know, like in the Riccola commercials :), and polka dancing on the dance floor! It is so nice to sit in a restaurant with kids if they can watch and enjoy a show that the parents can enjoy too, and as a buffet, to not have to wait for food. www.allearsnet.com has the menu. My kids were 7 & 8 when we went last time, and we're going again in 15 days (kids will be 10 and 8).

I have not been to Le Cellier, and would love to try it, but for the family, we're doing Biergarten again :) Besides, we're from Canada :)

Oh, and we did Rose and Crown too, and had an 8 p.m. PS, and got seated on a table on the patio, so we could see Illuminations. The prime rib was to die for, but they don't serve that there anymore. The kids menu was very kids-typical, and the kids enjoyed it. :)

i'd say beirgarten ( enough to chose from that's basic for picky one) or lecellier. last time we ate at san angel it was basic chi-chi/taco bellish so if they like that they'd be ok there. ( unless the menu has changed drastically)
