Please, help me w/ planning.

We will be arriving @ Pop on a Wed. @ apx. 11:30 am. Check-in, quick bite at the Pop food court. We are here on a very short trip. 4 days 3 nights. The kids favorite park is MK. We usually go there on the first day but go again on the last day too. Also usually the only other parks we go to are MGM and BB. This time they want to go to MK, AK, Mgm, Epcot, BB and DQ.

So here's my first problem....We aren't going to have enough time to go to MK twice this trip. So we have to make the most of it. So should we go to MK the first day from 1:00-8:00 or go to MK on Fri. 9:00-6:00. Also Fri. they aren't having the fireworks. My reasoning for going to the MK on Fri. is because it is "Not So Scary Halloween Party" night. So I'm thinking maybe there wouldn't be alot of people at MK during the day because most people would be going at night? Also thinking this would be a good night to go to DQ because the kids would be at MK?

Also I have PS @ Ak @ 8:00 the same time as early entry. I'm thinking that was a mistake. I'm afraid we'll be wasting time at breakfast instead of taking advantage of the oportunity to ride the rides with out a long wait. Or perhaps I should just change the PS to the last seating time. Hit the major rides then go to breakfast...or....go on another day to AK when it opens @ 9:00 and get a PS at 8:00?

It's getting down to where I've got to make some decisions and I'm confused. HELP!

we are going in dec and a cast member told me lots of people do not want to "waste " a hopper day when the park closes early that day for a party...which i thought odd is it is only an hr earlier in Dec but oh well. what day is the 1-8? you'd get more time on the 9-6 so i would go then. someone posted a lot of locals go to the parties on Fri. so dq might not be bad then, jsut guessing though. know it was awful on sat. in Jan. but pretty empty any other time, including evenings( at least no discernable outside line like on Sat)

i would change the ps for later . maybe go for a late brunch type thing after ee, like 10:30 or later ( not sure how long they serve) instead of breakfast and just grab something quick( like the yummy cinnamon roll at tusker to eat on the go if you are hungry before...guessing you are going to Boma . we went a little later in the morning, after park opening and it was empty for Breakfast. however that might entail more waiting for buses ect, unless you get to the stop while others are still coming for normal opening. if you change your ps to another day and go later to ak you miss ee anyway so guess that is about an even trade!

First, you'll have to work w/ the kids to pick out the top things they want to do. As it seems there is really way to much you all want to accomplish in such a short time. Everything will feel rushed rather than enjoyable.

Next my suggestion would be-- why don't you go to MNSSHP? This is one way to get you into the park twice. Go on your arrival day then later in the week go to the party. It really is a great value for the money. Then on the day of the party you could hit up the water park or DQ for awhile then relax a bit before the party.

The last thing-- in regards to the AK-- sometimes the character meals are just as much an expierence as the parks. It's almost like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. You have to eat-- so thats out of the way, but you still get the entertainment of a themed atmostphere and the characters. So, I wouldn't look at it like it's a burden, but relax and enjoy the meal.

Re: AK EE breakfast PS - I would take a later seating and do the main attractions before breakfast.

Re: BB and Disney Quest - I think with just four days, it would be best to drop one or both of these. If these are your priority, then you probaby should drop one of the main parks. I've never been to DQ, so I don't know how much time is needed there. I'm assuming these would be your plus options?? (I also don't know how that works since we use AP's.) If I had to pay extra to squeeze a water park in on a day I was also using a hopper day - it wouldn't be worth it to me.

I don't know what your previous experience is at WDW, but you can do a lot in the evening after MK closes at 6 (Epcot for Illuminations and Worldshowcase entertainment and food or MGM for Fantasmic).
