Please help me pick a hotel!! Closest and cleanest to disneyland?

We love the Ramada Maingate. Very quick walk and the new rooms are great. I heard they are expanding their breakfast but not sure when that will take effect. But they have toast, cereal, juice, donuts, etc.

How many people will be in your room? Also how far is walking distance for you? We go every month since my daughter lives down there but we stay in a hotel and I've stayed at a lot of them. Also what price are you comfortable with?
Thanks hope I can hel.

I'm staying at the Castle Inn because I thought it looked cool from the pictures online.

Not recent but we have stayed there a couple of times, most recently probably 2 years ago. It was very nice. We never had any problems there. Rooms were nice and staff was pleasant. We haven't returned because I found their prices a little higher than other places that we were considering and we feel we get a better deal at Candy Cane Inn.

Thanks! I am still wavering if I just want to bite the bullet and stay at the DLH, LOL.

We've become fans of the Tropicana. We stay there every time now. Clean, close (10 minute walk to the gates) and they have a little market downstairs.

Just spent a week there and it was great. The market is very convenient as was the laundry room.

Totally hijacking, but I was considering the Fairfield Inn, any recent reviews?
We stayed at the Fairfield in July. We had no complaints other than no breakfast. But they have a fridge, so we bought food and ate in the room before we left for the day. We ended up with a Toy Story themed room and a great view.

Tropicana, Best Western PPI, and Park Vue are easily the three closest. The rooms and general feel of the places all seem to be about the same. Tropicana has good wifi, no free bkfst, but a nice coffee/donut shop. BWPPI and Park Vue have free bkfst. BWPPI's wifi has troubles.

From what I've seen price-wise, Tropicana usually comes in about $20/nt less than the other two, but they're usually all in the $100-$135/nt price-range

We like the Candy Cane. Very clean, great service, free breakfast, free parking, and easy walk to the park.

We'll be staying at Desert Inn and Suites for the second time next month. 3 minutes from hotel driveway to main gate (walking), free breakfast, free wi-fi, and very clean. And super affordable. We're a party of 6 and can get a suite with 2 bathrooms for the cost of a single room at some other places.

Thumbs up for DI&S. :thumbsup2

Also Tropicana has a deal where if you stay 5 nights or more you get $20 off per night from the usual price.

We had no problems with Desert Inn. Great value suite, plenty of room for everyone. Room was spacious and clean, everything in good repair. Comfy beds, good water pressure in the showers. Amazingly short walk to the gates! Free wifi was great. Free breakfast, not so much. But it was enough to get us going. It wasn't luxury, but everything did what it was supposed to :thumbsup2
