please help me find an old post regarding distance from x to y at the fort??

There was a post a while ago with a link that brought you to something like google earth but you could put in a point and then another point and it would give you the distance between the two.

I have been searching for it and can't find it, I just am curious so I know how far i am running

Google Earth has a measurement tool, which can be a two point line or a multi-point path. And it can read out in feet, miles, meters, etc. I use this tool all the time. Download it here.

This is a sample of it in use:

The tool is circled in yellow. The white line with red dots is the path I have traced out, and the dialog box shows the distance. I find it to be quite accurate.

the thing I was referring to was a website, no download needed?

I will get google earth while I am at it, wouldn't hurt!!!

Try www.gmap-pedometer.com. Then, put lake buena vista, fl into the "jump to" box and say go. Then, you can zoom in on FW. It gives all the loops, streets, etc. You can then tell it to start recording, and then double click where you want to go and it will give you the distance. It's a great tool. It's ok my dad graduated from there in the 70's and always jokes he got in with a 6 pack of beer

I applied to a few schools because the field I want to go into is limited, and with the economy it is getting even smaller

I was rejected from two of the schools and the other wait-listed me, kinda. They want me to take the GRE again and score higher, then they will let me in for fall 2010.

For now, I am planning on staying in CLearwater/Dunedin for a year... trying to find a real job.... and then going to UGA for next fall (It will be hard driving through UGA territory with UF license plates lol)
