Hi everyone,

I need some help with ARD's for Sept (I know I am late in the game so I will take what I can get)

SO We are on the dining plan, staying 9/13-9/16 on the dining plan.

Where do we eat?
Concoarse steak house (good food)
Boatrights (never ate there)
Le Cell (never eaten there)
Garden Grill - we ate at the old one but not since it reopened
Tonys town Square (good food)
Liberty Tree Tavern (Good food)
MaMa Melrose (never eaten there)

It is me, DH, DS14 and DS11.75

Seems like you may have a hard time getting ADR's but if you go to the resorts you may be more successful. Who is in your group and what are their ages?

I know that things will be tough. I was hoping for opinions on the above restaurants. When we went 2 years ago we ended up changed most of out ressies in the morning and didn't have much trouble. Sometimes I think the latter the better if you don't call 180 days out.

Garden Grill is one of our favorites, the uniquesness of the restaurant is wonderful and character interaction is great!

I really like Le Cellier if you can find anything available there.

If you are staying at POR than it would be fine to eat at Boatwright's but I wouldn't make a trip to the resort alone just to eat there... too much headache for me.

I think Liberty Tree Tavern is a good choice for your MK day.

I haven't heard great reviews (or even good ones) on the Garden Grill Lounge. I have never eaten there but I am not planning on it after some of the latest reviews.

It might be easier to hop over to the review forum and see what kind of recent reviews those places are getting. Also I would think of a couple of back up choices so if they don't have any of the choices you want available when you call for ADR's you can have other ideas on hand and not have to call back.

I did enjoy Mama Melrose's last time I was there but I do find the menu very limiting compared to others. GL deciding! :goodvibes

Thanks for your suggestions. This was a last minute trip and we are only staying 4 days, but we got in on the free dining again. Yes we are staying at Port Orleans, a new resort for us also. :yay:

I am calling today and just kind of winging it, we don't even have a daily park plan. The only deffinate is MNSSHP on Friday I was told it was a must do.:hippie:

Thanks again

Well yesterday was crazy at work so no time to call. Bumping just in case there is any last minute advise for me.

We'll be there that week as well. We did not think about restaurants until a few weeks ago, but are now trying places we might not have otherwise. I am just looking forward to not having a$1k food bill at the end of the trip.

I saw someone last night who said they update all the cancellations every morning at 7:00 a.m., so you might see what happens there.
