Which would you choose?

This will be a first time visit for my family. Me, DH, DD12,DS15,DS6. Staying offsite

1.6 Base Tickets 2MK,2AK,1EP,1HS
2.6 Base Tickets/Waterpark(1 day) 2MK,2AK,1EP, 1/2HS, 1/2 Blizzard Park
3.5 Base Tickets/Waterpark 2MK,1AK,1EP,1HS,1 Blizzard Park
4. Any other suggestions you might have

Should we focus more on the park? We plan on visiting again in 2-3 years after this trip.

TIA!

I am not sure when you are going. If after June 30 then Toy Story Land will beopen at HS so I would do #1 or #3. Otherwise I would do #2.

If your kids are fans of waterparks, I would do option 3. Blizzard beach is great. I would do a full day at HS instead of a 1/2 day, even if you are going before Toy story land opens, since this is your first visit.

This is purely subjective, but it if were me I'd get a 6 day pass w/water park. I'd do 2 MK, 2 AK, 1 HS, 1 Epcot and then hit each water park at least once...you can do a water park and theme park in the same day. Perhaps the way I'd do it is on one of your MK and AK days do the water park in the morning/early afternoon, then MK/AK at night.

I think doing waterpark on a MK/AK is a great idea since we will have 2 park days each.

I'd devote a full day to HS for a visit in 2019 with Toy Story Land. How long is your full stay in Orlando? You have a lot of parks crammed into 5/6 days? Do you want just a down day to relax? Your kids are great ages to go go go but even after 4 days sometimes we need at least a half day off from parks. Just based on what you shared, I'd pick option 3, just my two cents....

June1st-June8th
June 1 will be arrival day
June 8 will be departure day

If it were our family, we are me, DH, DDs ages 11 & 9, we'd do at least one day off in that mix for that amount of time and that many park days. We are a family that doesn't like to sit idle too long but it's nice to take an afternoon or morning off from parks. Based on arrivals/departure day times, that could afford you a good rest, but I would still do the 5 days and have a day off in there for sure.

June 2019.

Whew! That's some early planning.

Disney has not officially announced which month the new Star Wars-themed land will be opening at Hollywood Studios, but we do know it is expected sometime in 2019. If I were a betting man, I'd guess they'd prefer to have it open by June 2019 to drive summer attendance. If it's open by the time you go, I'd expect WDW in general to have a lift in crowds, and for HS to be particularly busy. My advice would be to either spend more time at HS (i.e., attempt to spend more time there, given how packed it is expected), or stay away from it to enjoy the rest of WDW since it's all new to you, depending on your interests.

Or the new land's opening could be in the fall, in which case, never mind. :)

I have been researching and planning this 2019 trip since December 2017. We have just pretty much set the dates a few months ago.
I am hoping that the new land is in the fall.

I am personally not a huge water park fan and I have only ever added the water park option to my tickets on 1 trip just to say I did them. So for me, the choice would easily be option #1.

Additionally, since this is your first trip and there is so much to see in the parks, I'm not sure a day or even 1/2 day at a water park is the best bang for your buck. For that same reason, I would go with Option #1.

If your family are huge water park people then option #3 would be my pick. You can cover a good chunk of AK in a day and there is a lot happening in DHS over the next year that I would not want to try to cram that into a 1/2 day.
