I have spent the last week reading restaurant reviews, menus, and changing our ADRs. I am looking for a great place to eat that Mom and I have not been to yet in the World Showcase. I do have Teppan booked, but have decided to try something else. The only reason I eat in Japan is for the Green Tea Pudding anyways. :lovestruc

Please help me pick! We're using the DDP and want to use 1 TS credit.
We've been to:
Teppan Edo
Tokyo
Nine Dragons
Biergarten

There is SO much to choose from that I cannot narrow it down!!
Here is a list of other restaurants we're going to:
Kona
Ohana
Captain's Grille
Crystal Palace
Garden Grill
Teppan (must change!)

I was debating on changing out something with Kouzzina, but am waiting on Goofyluver and UncleR to finish their Dining Review :rolleyes1 lol

We had a really yummy dinner at Akershus, but it doesn't sound like you're looking for a character meal. Just wanted to put that idea out there. :)

Are there any particular food preferences y'all have? Rose and Crown is good, and Tutto Italia sounds divine.

We are NOT picky eaters!! I will eat & try anything, but chocolate. I've always been a white choc kinda girl :) I tend to choose restaurants by looking at desserts though, so I would love a great dessert recommendation please :goodvibes I was going to choose Via Napoli just bc of those ricotta cheese fritters, but figured I could use some guidance :grouphug:

Looks delicious! Since we're doing CP, I'll have to put Akershus on my list for November.

Any other suggestions? Any thoughts on Via Napoli or Tutto Italia??

Ahhh, based on dessert? I'd really consider Via Napoli - the zeppole does sound mighty darn tasty....

The Stickey Toffee Pudding at Rose & Crown is one of our favorite desserts in all of Disney! R&C in general is a favorite of ours but that dessert is divine! :goodvibes

We had Rose and Crown this past June and it was delicious. We got a great table out on the patio, so we ate and got to watch Illuminations. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was awesome as was our waitress. I think her name was Claire. She was super friendly! All in all, it was a great dinner.

So far, we've had great meals at Tutto Italia...the only problem is sometimes the service is slow...but we are on vacation, so we do overlook this! :yay:

Based on where you've already eaten (and where I've eaten!), I would suggest either Tutto Italia or Via Napoli. We've done both, but are now in LOVE with Via Napoli. Those fritters are amazing!

I added a poll to gain more insight. So many amazing choices, it's hard to choose just one!

Let me tell you, I also thought the Green Tea Pudding at Teppan Edo was TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9: Love that place!

If you want a view of illuminations, then Rose/Crown would be nice. Love their food. And they have a great view. Otherwise, I'd recommend Via Napoli. :thumbsup2

I would say Chefs de France all the way...The food is amazing along with a crazy cool atmosphere (you feel like your in the center of Paris) what more do you need! As far as desserts they have amazing sorbets

We went to Chefs de France for lunch last week (Wednesday!) and really weren't impressed with what we had. I think the best thing may have been the cheese pastry DD got as her app...and of course she wouldn't eat it.

Of your other three choices, I haven't been to any of them.

I would like to say that I enjoyed dinner at the Marrakesh (same night). It seems to be of the sort that rarely fills up with reservations...and I'm trying to figure out how I can at least just get back for some of those beef brewat rolls.... (I never would have thought they would be good at all...)

I'm torn between R&C and Via, but in the end voted for Via. I think it has more to choose from if you have a diverse group going. But, if your planning on eating later in the day, like right before Illuminations, go for R&C and ask for an outdoor table.

We really liked Via Napoli and Rose and Crown. Can't comment on Tutto, we haven't tried it yet, but Les Chefs was a thumbs down. None of us enjoyed our meal there.

Good luck:goodvibes

I love Tutto Italia and would definitely recommend it. The Cannoli's are to die for! I eat there at least once every time I travel to WDW. I have to admit that I'm a little biased because of my 100% Italian blood, but the food (and wine and dessert) speaks for itself! :wizard:
