I called to book 2 linked rooms this morning at POR for september, 1 for my family, and 1 for my parents. They would not let me list my address on my parents reservation. This is a surprise trip for them for their 50th wedding anniversary and I am not telling them until later this summer. I don't want statements and such going to their address. So, I'm going to call back later and try again and just say that we all live at the same address. I will call closer to the time and change their address so that they can check in correctly. However, it got me thinking. Tomorrow is our 180 mark and I planned to try to book our adrs online. Because their are 5 in my room, it is only going to let me book an online adr for 5 and not 7 correct? Am I going to have to call to book my adrs instead of booking online?
Please help clarify.
Thank you!

ADRs are not tied to your room. In fact you don't even have to be staying at Disney to make ADRs. You can make them for as many people as you want. It is just a dining resi like you would make at home.
We were just there and made a ADR for the two of us and 4 others who were staying offsite. No problem. Just be aware that some require a CC guarantee, so if you all don't show up they can charge you a fee.
You can book them online.

We do the same thing when traveling with my parents. We book the ADRs for all of us under our account. There is no problem reserving tables for more people than are in your room, even in the 180+10 day period.
We find it makes it much easier having the ADRs together as one party. You should be good to go.

Assuming you are paying for both rooms, You could book 2 rooms, one with your name and one with your husbands name and use your address, then when you get there you would each check into a room. Then you could just sleep where ever you want. They just need an adults name for each room. You could have your husband and fathers name for one and yours and mothers and kids for the other. All one family.

Thank you! The 180+10 is what I was specifically worried about. Thank you so much!
